WOW! My lips have been dry all winter, with one spot that will not heal no matter what I've tried. I've started wearing lipstick again and needed to fix that because that spot didn't take the product well. I saw lanolin on reddit and decided to try it. Holy smokes! I put some on before bed, and when I woke up my lips were fully hydrated (even that bad spot), smooth, and the softest they've been since I was a teenager. It was crazy! Seriously, I've never seen any product make such a big difference, and so quickly!My lips did dry out during the course of the day, but the super-dry spot didn't come back. Now I'm looking for a portable lanolin product. This jar is much to large to carry around, although if I don't find other uses for it, it's going to last forever.

Do you know what sheep smell like? If you buy this you will. The smell does not linger. It's a very heavy ointment, which absorbs well and protects skin. I use this on my very rough heels and overwashed hands. Sometimes I use this during the day if I need but mostly I put on at bedtime with socks. I have tried everything, even prescribed stuff for my cracked painful skin. I have used this for about a week and notice huge improvement.

I wanted a natural alternative to aquaphor and this worked so much better and faster. I had really bad chapped lips and tried jojoba and castor oil for 2 days and it didn’t help at all. Tried this and only after a couple hours, my lips were so smooth and the dead skin was coming off! Amazing. I can’t wait to continue to use this especially for my face. It’s very smelly but hopefully I get used to it!

I use it for my hair as an alternative to oil. Man oh man does this leave my 4 type hair plump and luscious. It’s texture is like hair grease mixed with honey. I use it on damp hair. I warm it between my hands or fingers and apply it to areas that are dry or frizzy. The SHINE is ridiculous!!

Feels as refreshing as the brand Lasinoh, but as it is more natural (not refined) it smells like sheep and I am not sure if it is safe to leave on while breastfeeding. Also the seal was slightly opened when I got it was a bit concerning, but a good price.

This was my first time trying lanolin. Yes, I expected a smell, but I didn't expect it to be as strong as it was. The good news is that you get used to it after a while; it stops registering as unpleasant and starts registering as natural. This is the only thing I've found that has consistently prevented dry patches. My eyelids were always flaky from adapalene even though I was careful about washing the product off of my hands before moisturizing the area. It was at the point where heavy moisturizing creams and even hyaluronic acid weren't treating the flakiness. Enter lanolin. I rub this onto my eyelids before bed every night and haven't had a single flake since. It's also great for preventing itchiness/irritation around the nose area.

This is the most amazing product I have ever used on my very dry feet and elbows. You do have to wait till it gets somewhat "defrosted". Which is about a few hours once you open it and inspect it, it was very solid when I first opened it. So the next day it changed to a more flexible and "creamier" form, making it easier to use. It DOES the job! Leaving skin and feel VERY soft! So goal accomplished! It absorbs quickly as the product promised. Now the one thing it does have is a strong smell, remember it IS pure Lanolin. It may be up to you to mix it with something so it can smell better. But since I use other natural products along with this is dies out the scent. I am very surprised at this product's ability to solve my embarrassing dry feet and elbows problem. Mission accomplished!

Very sticky, with a strong lanolin smell, but it does the trick! It combines well with petrolatum jelly or Aquaphor to spread easily. Great alone for my nails!
