Q: Is the product just for African american curls or will it work for white fine curls??

Hi, I am white, of Irish descent, with 3b/3c curls. My hair is thin and fine (when it is dry it has a lot of body, so people tend to assume it is thick), and this product works amazingly well for me. You might have to experiment with the amount you put on. A little goes a long way with this stuff. It is by far the best product I've ever tried for air-drying my hair (sometimes I get frizz when I diffuser-dry), and I frequently am able to get 2nd and 3rd day curls (rocking 3rd day curls today, in fact!) when using this. I recommend giving it a try.

The price has been the same since 2012. If Amazon increases the price make sure to purchase it at Target or Sally's since they never stray from the 16.99. Actually you can buy it at Sally's for 11.99 til Feb 29th since they are having a sale on textured hair products.
