Floating pond container
Floats great. Waters aquatic plants 24/7. My fish can't snack on tender roots. Win win!

We have three and ordered one more. Birds and fish love to use it.
I got the first one last May and put some marsh plants in it for our artificial pond. We use a 6ft diameter stock tank for an above ground pond so there is no bank for planting. Worked great, stayed in the pond all winter (NC) and we liked it so much I ordered two more of them this spring to add more mash plants. The only problem I've had with it is that the birds are using it as a birdbath and breaking off pieces of plants on the newly planted ones. So I ordered one for them that I'm just going to put some gravel in so that they can use it as a bath. My fish like to hang out underneath them when it gets really hot, which was one of the reasons we added more this year.

Nice planter
Needed this for shade area to a pond. It’s performing well but to be made of what it is, it’s a little over priced. These are difficult to find locally.

and while some of these are truly beautiful, natural-looking
I've been working in the manufacturing and distribution side of the water garden industry since 1989, and as a commercial aquatic plant grower, have always been interested in the concept of floating islands. There are many iterations of floating islands on the market today, but the reason they've not received more widespread usage is because they normally range from pricey to horridly expensive, and while some of these are truly beautiful, natural-looking, and highly-functional, the pricepoint seems to serve as an effective deterrent to widespread usage. This island is an exception. It's sturdy, well-engineered, functional, and looks great when planted and installed. One of my colleagues reports that this product has a lifespan in full-sun of 5+ years. The low price makes this purchase a no-brainer for anyone wanting an island in their pond...
