Versatile mat and sturdy
I purchased this mat for my older dog to assist him getting up and down. It is excellent for this and even better at cleaning his paws when he comes in from outside. It is water resistant and clings to the floor very well. Cleaning is a snap as I vacuum daily and it keeps it looking good.

Great and durable. Doesn’t slide.
This is great. Exactly as described. I got the second size up and it fits my door way nicely. Traps dirt at the door, easy to shake out and brush off.

I'm very happy with the weight, design, and durability this mat is made with. And I'm glad I didn't settle for a cheap mat - as I know this would out last others. It's low-profile yet dense enough that it has to be rolled for packaging. This means I don't have to be bothered by crease marks in this mat, and yes I'm picky like that.

Nice mat but difficult to clean
Bought this because we liked a previous Gorilla mat we had purchased for a different doorway in the gray color. This is a "coffee" or dark brown mat which looks nice but the darker color really shows the dirt and it is hard to vacuum clean. We come home after walking in dry dusty dirt and I have vacuumed this mat multiple times trying to get the fine dust out. I will need to wash it with soap and water instead of just vacuuming.

Not only for trapping dirt and water
We did not use this as a door mat but as a mat at the side of a bed. I placed it on top of a disposable underpad (underpad taped down to carpet) . Heavy mat does not shift and lays flat so no tripping issues. This helps keep the carpet clean when my husband has to use a urinal bedside. This reduces use of disposable underpads.Excellent quality mat. Easy to clean.

Durable and absorbs water
I live in an area that gets a lot of snow and this mat absorbs the water very well. It feels/looks good quality and protects my hardwood floors nicely. It’s easy to vacuum and stays in place on my hardwood floors without slipping around. It’s in a high-traffic area in front of the door with humans and 3 dogs going in and out…so far it seems durable. The charcoal color hides the dirt while still looking nice on the floor.
