Easy DIY Fix
Incredibly easy to install. Have never worked on cars before, but I do consider myself more handy than the average person. If I had to replace this again, it would take me less than 5 minutes.If you come to the reviews like I did looking to be convinced you can do it yourself, YOU CAN DO THIS.-disconnect the negative battery terminal, turn on your lights and wait a few mins for the battery to drain-remove the long panel on the door handle-pop out the old switch and disconnect the wiring gently-plug the connectors back in the correct direction-put everything back together, reconnect the negative terminalDONE! It also came with a tool to pop out the panels, but I found I needed a tiny screwdriver too. Other than that, I really did not need tools to complete the project. Looks and works good as new.

When the window switch on my Nissan Rogue (2018) suddenly broke one day, the dealership quoted me $600 to replace it. I bought this switch off of Amazon after reading great reviews and watching a YouTube video that made it look so very simple. And let me tell you, it was just as easy as it looked! I have next to no car-savvy and I replaced it myself in less than 10 minutes using only the tool included. I actually bought other trim removers just in case but didn’t end up opening them because this tool worked just fine.Highly recommend! The new switch looks exactly like the original and functions beautifully. This little product is perfection!Edited to add: the paint did start to wear off of the buttons after 7ish months, but as long as you remember which button is the lock vs. unlock, you’re good to go.

Not a reliable part
It was installed on 6/18/25 and as of today 7/10/25 it no longer works.

Great Replacement
Feels like the OEM 2016 Nissan Sentra controller that went out. Replacing took less than a minute. Great product. Fit exactly as it should.
