Park ToolHBP-1 Hub Bearing Press Set

The instructions are a multi-language joke, but once you start to use this thing, it is pretty straightforward. I needed to put 26mm OD with a 15mm ID size bearings into my DT Swiss hub, I just found the 15mm inner piece, placed the 26mm outer piece onto the inner piece (making something that looks like a "T" in profile), loaded the bearing onto the inner piece next to the outer piece and that part was ready. Next, my outer bearing was a 28x15mm size so I loaded a 28mm outer onto the other 15mm inner to put into the other side of the hub (to make a dummy bearing) and then I loaded everything into my hub (the dummy bearing near the spinner, the real bearing near the end cap) and then carefully spun the bearing home. When installing the last bearing, I just used a way-oversized bearing blank onto a 15mm inner to keep it centered but to protect the already installed bearing and everything was completed perfectly and with no drama. Extremely satisfied that I did not crunch my hub with a cocked bearing since the lands are so thin on the hub. This set cost way more than the hub, but having everything perfect is priceless!

Excellent range of options and combinations for press fit bearings. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Great way to maintain your own kit without making shop runs to wait for what can be a 2 minute job.

This is the best set of bearing removal and installation tools I've purchased. Especially helpful on those rear hubs, like the Powertap G3. Pricey as usual for Park tools, but they do the work.
