Vallejo Gold Model Color Paint, 17ml

First time ever purchasing vallejo paint products. Color match was perfect. Consistency was good not to thick with better that average coverage. Worked very well on the project I was doing. Good value for the price. Only thing is I don't understand the eyedropper type bottle thing, you must squeeze out some product into another container so you can use a brush on your project, no big deal I guess. I will be using more of this paint type in the future projects though.

Vallejo makes a great product, good coverage, quick drying, sprays well

Very good paint, this is the first paint I used when I was starting to paint my gunpla kits and it’s now the main paint brand I buy from it’s not to thick and with a few coats it covers the parts nicely

Great color. I used it in place of the light ochre that was used originally by Frank Lloyd Wright on a model of Fallingwater that I built. The light ochres that I found just didn’t match very well and the Fallingwater conservancy had Sherwin Williams (out of a bunch of paint manufacturers) come up with a newer, similar color that held up better and holds up against the autumn leaves staining the paint every fall. I think the original was better and Iraqi Sand was the closest to Wright’s design which were to compliment the rhododendrons.

Enough said — Deck Tan is one of those colors I wish I could buy by the gallon. It’s my go-to for painting eyes and white suits on comic book figures. Smooth coverage, blends like a dream, and just works in every project I throw at it.
