Soft Leather jacket.Well designed and comfortable

This is a beautiful, soft leather coat of very high quality. I ordered a Cole Haan jacket as well, but the leather is not even half as nice as this coat, and the Cole Haan was more expensive..This Marc New York coat is more heavy weight than a typical leather jacket. It has excellent lining and a removable insert at the neck. The Marc New York site has a lot of pictures of the coat on a model. I was not sure how the collar would be worn, but the pictures clarify that. The leather collar is basically worn up. It would look great with a long scarf.The zippers are excellent and very heavy duty. The other coat I ordered has a poorly working zipper.My only complaint is that this coat came in a plastic bag. There is no box at all for gifting or for even providing protection for the garment. I often receive $4 items that are non-breakable in a box large enough for pack 1000 of the items.

Marc New York's leather jacket is well made, attractive and uses soft leather. Unfortunately that leather has an awful aroma.The jacket is constructed from thick and supple leather. It's not stiff like some leather jackets can be. Everything is nicely finished with even stitching, nice detailing, and robust and smooth zippers. Overall, it looks high end.Size wise a large fits my 6'4" and 200 pound husband well. It has good length through the sleeves and comes down just below the waist in length. The shoulders hit at the correct spots and there is enough room to move around easily in the chest and torso.The jacket is more of a fall and winter jacket is style and weight. It has a removable bib, which my husband took out right away since the collar of the bib rubbed against his neck. The bib unzips easily and smoothly. The jacket has two exterior zippered pockets and one interior zippered pocket.The worst part of this jacket is the odor. It does not smell like high quality leather, despite feeling like it. It has a strong plasticky scent to it that can be quite overwhelming. I am hoping that with time it will dissipate.All in all... except the odor, it's a great leather jacket.

This is a beautiful jacket! I am very pleased with my purchase. It fits well and the leather is soft and beautiful! I highly recommend this purchase.

That was a good feature, avoiding return of an item that may not have been the right size.
