Bought these to replace some older, worn out Filbur filters. These were the exact same size and seemed very sturdy. Overnight, my pool went from cloudy to clear! The filters did a great job after the worn out Filburs couldn’t do the same in the course of three days of constant running. Not sure if these will last or 3 to 5 years as advertised, but for the past several months, they’ve been working great.

I just finished installing a four pack of these in a C4030 housing and they fit perfectly. They seemed to be well put together and the initial pressure reading was exactly where it should have been. Packaging was fine and there was no damage during shipment.Another reviewer mentioned that these filters have an internal support structure down inside the central tube, and in fact these had two, one at the center and one near the bottom. Pleatco, which was the brand of filters I was replacing, had one support structure at the center. I don't recall if Hayward filters have that but I think it's very important. There is another popular brand of similar filters sold on Amazon, and in the reviews there are pictures of filters that appear to have imploded near the center. I don't know this for sure but it wouldn't surprise me that those filters don't have this internal support because I don't see how that could have happened otherwise. Regardless, I will keep an eye on these and clean them regularly but so far it looks like a great replacement for the far more expensive OEM filters.Update after first cleaning:I just finished the first cleaning of the filters and the housing. Pressures had risen from 24 to 26 PSI, which isn't much but it had been 13 months so I figured I better check them out. One thing this company advertised was ease of cleaning and I can certainly vouch for that now. I used a low-end pressure washer with a wide fan spray nozzle, and was very careful not to damage the media. It took maybe an hour to clean all four filters to almost new condition, as opposed to 2 hours with every other filter I've ever had. It was a job I never looked forward to but these were not bad at all. They were certainly dirty, with a substantial amount of mud and detritus. The filter end caps were somewhat discolored but not degraded in any way. After getting everything back together and reassembled the pressure was about what it had been when they were new, maybe a little higher but not much. The water was somewhat cloudy for a couple of days but I added a measured amount of HTH clarifier and that took care of it. So with all that said I stand by my original review and expect that these will last at least 5 years if not longer.

Cheaper and work just as hard as the original. No performance loss after installed over a week ago. Very satisfied and will purchase again when needed.

Fit is exact, water quality is as good if not better than the original Hayward cartridges. They are lighter and look to be made of a different pleated material but in 2-3wks so far the pool is spotless. VERY satisfied. I have not had the need to clean them yet so I can’t comment on that aspect or durability yet. Half the cost of OEM replacement.

These are great filter to replace the Hayward factory ones. So far no issues. Installed perfect and pool is cleaner now than ever. Will update if anything changes. Great filter and value. These are more robust than the original ones and I expect to get more life out of them.

The filters arrived just as described in listing. Very good quality filters and were built right with 2 center supports, several bands and tight pleats. I’m very happy with my purchase and will buy again in the future.

These filters work really well, helps the water flow (obviously given new clean filters). My original Hayward filter lasted about 3yrs with constant clean. Immediate improvement with these new filters, both flow and lowered algae. Though it may cost a bit, I may decide to change it every year for easier pool maintenance.
