Melissa & Doug Decorate-Your-Own Wooden Princess Wand Craft Kit

It was for my daughter who plays very gently with any toys. She had a poorly made wand for about a year which was broken by her friend. I wanted to replace it with sturdy one. That's why I bought this product because it is made with wood. Boy! Was I wrong! It broke right after my daughter finished painting it! That really crushed her and she cried a lot. I was furious, not only because she didn't even get to play with it but also she put so much effort painting it. She was so proud. Because it was made with wood I thought it will be more durable and stronger than cheaply made plastic ones. But I was wrong. Very Ve-ry disappointed!

Bought this for my daughter to play.Pros:Easy to assemble, no sharp edges. Comes with glue pens to decorate.Cons:The star comes off way to easily. And possibly lose it. The glue paint comes off so easily even after overnight drying. Might as well use actual acrylic paint or markers to colour the star.I would have thought this brand made better products. The quality isn't there. I would not recommend this unless you are using your own crafting kits instead if what it came with to decorate this. With that in mind, the price is not worth it. Waste of money. I do not recommend this product or gifting this to others.

Love crafts? and Your girl is crazy about being a princess or a fairy? This is your kit! My girl LOVED making this! She just turned 3. I had fun helping her make her own wand as well! Only thing is... that it can get MESSY. As long as you have an apron or clothes that can have paint all over, and MAKE SURE TO PUT DOWN NEWSPAPER, as the paint does not come off on table.

Melissa & Doug nails it again with another fun covid crafternoon! These little kits keep the kids busy and productive. The quality is there and what I’ve come to expect from Melissa & Doug. It comes with everything you need to complete your art project. I let my 2 year old and my 4 year old both use these kits with much success. A fun way to spend an hour!

I handed these out to the girls at my son's birthday party and they were a hit. This one was made by a 5 year old. She assembled it and decorated it by herself. Just needed a little help with the ribbins. I will be buying more crafts like this.
