Awesome for commuting. Best bang for the buck.
I am currently on my first pair. I bought this tire because of the reviews for longevity. I commute 52 miles every day, 5 days a week. I have put 5k miles on these tires and can put in a honest review. I installed these tires by hand - im sure you can you tube this. They are easy to balance. The grip on these tires are a 8 for daily commuting. The tires will give you a fair warning when close to losing grip and are predictable. They are not as grippy as soft sport tires but are not meant for track days. The tires grip better once worn in, make sure you practice emergency braking. The tires do heat up quickly. The tires are also awesome in the rain. I had no problems riding in heavy rain. Just excersize due caution. These tires are awesome for commuting. The tires have plenty of tread and I should be able to easily get another 5k miles on this set.***Update***Put over 10k miles on these tires. Fronts are in great shape, about 70%. Rears are 50% but getting squared. Keep your tires inflated. I kept mine front 30 and rear 34.

Excellent tire for the price and consistent performance and results over the past 9 years and 77k miles
March 2017:So this tire had some issues and only lasted 5926miles. The shortest time/miles ever in the past decade or so running this. Tire started to vibrate really bad which usually happened at higher miles for me and not around 6k. Also had an incident in which the tire popped off the bead from what I assume is low air pressure/lack of checking. The usual uneven wear pattern that causes massive vibrations is the usual give away that the tire is going and starting to fall apart. Still a excellent deal for the price paid and excellent grip.April 2017:Got another 11028 miles out this tire which was installed in March 2016. Started to get heavy vibrations at higher interstate speeds. Decided to replace this before it gets ripped like the last one. Added some more pictures.March 2016:Been running the K671 in 150/70-17 for the past 70k miles and am getting consistently 9-11K miles out of them depending on the season. They usually wear quicker in the winter and get worn down around 9k miles. Summer sets usually last me over 10k with the last set showing metal and actually de laminating and ripping at 11.3K. Ive been pushing this time a bit too far.Grip is excellent and rain traction is a dream. Cannot go wrong with this on a Suzuki V-Strom or BMW 650cs.A dead giveaway on the tire going is that they get really wobbly and shaky. The DOT code on the tire received in March 2016 was 3515 Meaning it was produced in the 35th (August) week of 2015 which isn't bad.

Good tire, but wears unevenly
I use Kenda Challenger K657 on the front, and have been extremely pleased with the grip, handling, and treadwear -- both how many miles, and how evenly it wears -- on that tire.I ride a Suzuki VStrom 1000, and unfortunately, there is no 150/70-17 in the Challenger line to use on the rear of my bike, so I have to look at other model tires.I've bought 2 of these tires back-to-back. I like the Cruiser K671 rear tire pretty well, and they are, generally, a pretty good compliment to the Challenger. I have precisely zero complaints about the wet or dry handling (a big issue for me b/c a Shinko Cruiser tire threw me down in the rain crossing some rail tracks!) and the grip is completely satisfactory for how I ride the VStrom - like a middle aged guy on a high-mileage sport touring bike... with the emphasis on touring, not sport. My only complaint is that when they wear, they wear unevenly -- they scallop around that central triangle shape, which is super-weird for a rear tire. When it scallops, it makes the bike handle a bit squirmy, and it wants to follow grooves. It scallops before the tire is fully used-up in the middle, too, so it always feels like I'm wasting 1000 miles. I'm currently replacing it at about 5000~6000 miles... not bad, but could be better if they wore evenly.

Tire test
Trying out went for 3000 mile trip to desert and back to east ky,rode over wide variety of road conditions ,wet, gravel, hot, rough, pot holes ,rain,so far pretty good no problems,I've rode for 40 years so have had different tires so far these are performing fine .rode at various speeds high to low and are on 2003 Sportster if I get 8000 miles from them I will be happy, that's my average tire life for anything

All good but the packaging
Got the tire went and put it on and they balanced it. Everything was really well after the balance looks great rides well but it did take them sometime to get the tire balance. They said it was because the way of that it was packaged. So the only thing that I can say badly about this is they should really watch the way they package the tire as it causes creases and will cause the tire to be out of balance or wobble if you aren't careful. The tire itself is decently put together and I have had it on my girl's bike now for almost 2 months. Works great and doesn't have a flat spot even though we do a lot of highway riding. All in all I recommend this tire as long as you have somebody competent and balancing a motorcycle tire and putting it on

Great traction
I have put about 2k miles on this tire in the last month, and I really enjoy it. I got my first bit of skepticism from it the other day though when I was riding on dry surfaces, we had a 19 degree night and at the time of my ride it was about 39 outside. Going into a right turn I felt my rear kick out a little, I was stopped at the turn and did not notice any ice or other slippery debris in the road, I'm not saying there wasn't but it was my first "what the heck" moment on this tire. Overall, I would recommend this tire to anyone and I place it higher than the Dunlop 404's I replaced and the Bridgestone Excedra's I had before that. I've also gotten quite a few compliments on the appearance of the tire. Being a 170 I has a very aggressive siping pattern on the outer wall which has been a big hit with other riders.

Worried about cracking on tread
I was happy with this tire, good traction, easily mounted, good balance and delivered fast too. After only about 400 miles I'm noticing "cracking" on the tire. Not sure yet what it will lead to as far as longevity but it's a little concerning. More updates ahead.
