Arcadia Silk Plantation 13.7" New Guinea Impatiens Bush Light Pink (Pack of 6)

I bought these this spring to put in my porch hanging baskets instead of real impatiens. Didn't know how they would hold up to blowing rain & wind from summer storms but they have been fantastic. I think I lost one petal! Everyone (even my closest friend) have thought they were my real impatiens! Sure made my summer easier without having to water everyday and then have friends come by to water my plants when away. And still made my front porch have a nice "summer" look. :-)

I am pleasantly surprised and amazed at how well these silk flowers stand up to pounding rain and 70 MPH winds! I have an area in my yard that is constantly wet and I was spending a fortune on real plants only to watch them wither and die and having to replace them. These look just like real live Impatiens especially when placed in clumps together like the live ones grow. Even if I need to replace them every Spring it will still be cheaper than having real ones - no fertilizer, no weeding, just stick them in my gravel flower beds and forget about them....... Behind them I also purchased 18" diameter round bushes made of plastic and together with these Impatiens my rear flower beds never looked better and have drawn many compliments from friends and neighbors.

These plants have very dark green leaves--people the leaves make them appear real. Have some tomato red ones from last year and they were baking in the sun without protectant and still look good this year. You don't want your leaves to turn blue!-these won't. So far I like the red the best. I put these plants in a hanging basket (just happen to have) and put them on the ground in the garden tied together with a little stake so they won't blow. They are so close to the ground and when nestled in with other plants you would swear they were real. Found my answer--too old to lug hoses, can't dig holes, no fertilizing. Trust me, you have to try these plants!

These are very pretty but I ordered them in the salmon color too which look more natural. They are nice when you like to have flowers and can't always be there to take care of them. The neighbors love my "real" flowers.

I wish they look more like the picture. the flowers are flat all the way across top because of their length instead of rounded out.But they're okay.

When used in a large grouping they look pretty real. I had some empty planters on the back patio under my second story deck. I wasn't sure if anything would grow in the shade under there. So I saw these and decided to take a chance and fill the planters with these. Everyone thinks they are real. I made the mistake of mixing them with some not so real looking silk flowers which made the hole arrangement look fake. After removing the other flowers and going back to just using these, the look was just right.Update: This year I decided to add some of these to the front of my house. Some in planters near the front door and some in the ground around a tree with paver bricks encircling around it. My neighbor complemented me on my flowers and when I told her they were not real she did not believe me. So she came over and had to touch them to see if they were real. No maintenance required despite heavy rains and winds and bright sun. They have also not gotten moldy under the deck in the back of the house despite being there for 2 years. I would recommend spending a little time shaping and spreading these so that they look their best. Very pleased with these.

love the "no-maintenance' feature of these plants. I have had them outside for about a month, and so far they withstand windy conditions very well. The two-toned effect of this particular item makes them look quite real from a distance. I've just purchase another set in a different color.
