Fits 2002 Yamaha FZ1
This fit my 2002 Yamaha FZ1. The rubber boot is made for the wrong orientation so I re-used the factory boot. I really wanted to get OEM, but this is soooo much cheaper than factory. Fixed my starting problem. I ride every day and sometimes it wouldn't start. I thought it was my grip switch about 6 months ago, but then it wouldn't start at all. Used it several months now and no problems.

The second time I tried to crank the bike after installing this new relay, it kept trying to crank after I released the starter button... still trying to crank after turning the ingition OFF. I had to quickly get the battery disconnected to get it to stop. Regardless of refund or whatever, I will not be trying that again. I don’t care if the thing is free, I’ll be forking out the $70-$80 for the genuine Yamaha part next time.

Not right part as advertised.
Advertised as fitting a 2006 Yamaha vstar 1100 classic. It does not! At least not without modifications. Had to remove top part to re- arrange the connections and then use the old mounting part to mount it in the bike.

Works great
Works well exactly as original except for mounting rubber.This one came with vertical slots on mounting rubber and my original had horizontal slots on mounting rubber. I had to use the one from my old solenoid to mount in my snowmobile.

Product arrived defective
I had it tested and it was DOA.I understand this can happen, but I have to pay close to half the price to ship it back.I ordered a much cheaper relay for $11 and it looked the same but worked!

Good Solenoid for price
Lasted me about 2.5 years before crapping out, but my battery was weak so may have put too much stress on it.
