Genial calidad precio
Buen papel, piel correcta... si quieres un libro estilo artesano envejecido es lo que buscas, la calidad de los cosidos y demás podría ser mejor pero también debería de subir el precio.

Journal with bag - lousy dye
On first recept of the journal, I was pleased with the softness of the leather, and the style of the extended cover and longer wrap chord. It is a little timely to undo with one hand in the video, but it makes it certain it will not suddenly open when you don't want it too. It also can be tied in a way that will allow you to know if anyone has "used" it without permission. The color is awful. I am uncertain what method they used to dye it, but the ocher color looks like it is straight out of the litter box, and is uneven and even "patterned" throughout the pages. The color is darker on the edges which leads me to believe it was died AFTER the page sizes were made. Also the pigment patters make it appear to be dyed while bound in the smaller bound packets that were later stitched to the cover. I disliked the color so much so, that I almost returned it. Not an aged brown like advertised. It us a yellow-brown-green...ocher. a walnut color would be much more pleasant with the cover, and natural looking. The paper i nice for all pen types. I like glass calligraphy pens with Noodlers Ink. I have written, drawn, and "colored" in the book with a caligraphy glass pen. It does not suck up the ink or catch the fine nib. It is smooth. The paper does have a gridded look, so I am uncertain what paper making method is used. I am not accustomed to a textured paper of this kind, but it did not make a difference in use.The book has fantastic craftsmanship, in that knots are not obvious, and the journal is solidly held together(see video). The leather is marred easily, but there are directions included as to how to remove indents and marks it picks up. The soft surface is unusual. My favorite part of this purchase was the small cotton bag. I like books to stay covered. All reading books have dust jackets in cellophane, and journals are in boxes or bags. This bag is an easy bag made for the size of the book. It only fits the book, and is a bit snug. If you use the journal to store clippings or mixed media art, your journal will outgrow your little bag. This is a con for the journal. It is great for gifting the journal, but not for using the journal. I will crochet a cover for it at some point. To sum it up:Pros:Well madeAll inks can be used on paper(all media likely can be used)Nice sizeNice giftCons:Gift bag too small for long term useDyed color is horridDyed pages are low quality with patternsWould I buy it again? For a lot less money, I would buy it again. The quality of the dye job on the pages is inferior, as was the color choice and method. This is a book that meets the expectations of something under $15. I have purchase larger books with paper that was not quite as fine, but not inconsistently dyed, and not dyed an ugly color, for under $12. I think the price point for the problems with the book is the deal breaker for me.
