Are the papayas used for this Ripe or Unriped?

This is Papayra LEAF extract, not the fruit. I take it because it is recommended for boosting platelet production. I have ITP and consistently have a low blood count resulting in bruising and bleeding. My platelets have stabilized, so I continue to take it daily.

Is this ground up leaves? If this is an extract explain why it is not a liquid in a capsule? If powder, what is it that is extracted?

It is Hydrosolic, powdered extract of the leaves, standardized to 20% Glycosides. That is what makes it cleaner, more potent and bio-active. There are different methods of extraction using different solvents ranging from various Alcohols, Hydrocarbons, CO2 and Water. Hydrosolic - Water and CO2 are cleanest.

What is the size of capsule? Is there a smallest size option?

It is regular size capsule. I have not looked for one smaller. I use most of the time loose leaf tea.

Is it certified organically grown?

It is organically grown by our small family farmers in India. It is not certified organic.
