The safe is comparably sturdy and strong to other safes of similar size and appearance. That is to say, if someone had an industrial blowtorch or other specialized equipment and was willing to spend significant time and money brute forcing it open through the top, back, or sides, I'm sure it would be possible. But no one is getting in using standard household objects.The time function works perfectly, just make sure to read the manual to the letter to properly program it and make sure to test it before locking up/giving away the keys to prevent your own ability to override the timing functionality. It's not perfectly intuitive, and requires some finagling to figure out how to program it the way you want, but it's NOT rocket science and doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes or so. It could take longer if you want to have additional complexity to which times of each day you want it to work, etc, but once it's set up it's set up for good and the option to be able to customize it SO much is extremely valuable and appreciated.I screwed up initially when programming it and thought I had tested it and it was working properly so I mistakenly locked up the keys with the expectation I would be able to use my code to open it back up during the time frame I had set when the need arose. However, the code didn't work when I expected it to so I contacted the seller who quickly offered to send an additional key free of charge and walk through the programming I had done with me to see if it was human error and if not, to replace the whole thing for free if it was indeed malfunctioning and a result of the product itself. They key arrived very quickly for coming from the other side of the world and immediately upon unlocking it and viewing the settings I had input, it was clear that it was my fault the code wasn't working since I had somehow changed the mode to accept only the key and ignore the timelock functionality. After additional rigorous testing, the timelock functionality is clearly working as intended once I fixed my mistake. So in the end, the safe does exactly what it's meant to do and the seller was kind enough to fix a problem I had caused free of charge and very quickly, which goes to show how much they care about their customers.So all in all, I highly recommend this product and it is completely worth the money if other cheaper options have not worked because you, like me, have exploited their weak build quality and brute forced through to access the contents inside. That is simply impossible with this product and I also really like the fallback of always being able to access the contents with the keys in case of emergency or if the timelock functionality actually DOES malfunction. (this is extremely important given the sturdiness and impossibility of brute forcing it open.) Just lock one inside and give the other to someone you trust for safekeeping and you will have complete peace of mind while still being able to fully use this product for its purpose and function. I have used multiple other timelock boxes and while this is by far the most costly, it is far and away the best at what it is intended for while having complete customization that isn't present on other options. This is the endgame for this category of product. Once you buy one, you will never ever need another.The only real gripe (which is less of a gripe and more of a request) I have is that it is not fireproof. If there was an option for a more expensive, fire/waterproof version of this product, I would be happy to buy it for a dual purpose willpower aid and actual SAFE safe for important documents in the case of disaster. Perfect two birds with one stone scenario.

I bought this safe about 9 months ago. I use it so I can cut down on smoking cigarettes. The safe works great. It does as what I expect it to do and now I smoke a lot less than before owning the safe. If you follow the manual that's included it is easy to setup. The time unlock feature is great and it was the reason why I bought the safe. You can basically set any time of the week and anytime of the day to keep it locked and to unlock it. There are many different memory settings to set when to lock it and when it's unlockable so you can set each day to a different time. You can also set it to lock and unlock multiple times in one day. You can set many different combinations of day and time.There are not good reviews and I'm not sure why. I also had issues with the safe but it was user error on my end. After reading the manual again I was able to use the safe without any issues.Keep the manual and make sure to read it if it's not working how you want it to. Usually the settings are not set correctly when you think that there is an issue with it.This is a very great safe and the price is great for the feature that it provides. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this today and followed the instructions step by step. I even reread the manual about six times to make sure I was doing everything correctly, but unfortunately the timer does not start at all. The red button never lights up.It’s really disappointing because I spent my time and money on this product, and now I’m just sitting here wondering what I’m supposed to do with it. I expected it to work right out of the box, but it simply doesn’t.

This device has saved me many thousands of dollars, making it well worth 20x the purchase price alone, not to mention the better habits it can help create. The construction is durable and the electronics reliable. They take only a couple of days to master and soon you will have a system built. I actually bought another to help better control the second part of my day. I've owned the first device for about three years and it's still going strong, despite many foolish attempts to break in, sometimes quite vigorously.The owner is a great guy who I've been in contact with for years. He can be counted on to always respond quickly and with great advice.If you have dependecy issues that are getting out of control, this safe could honestly set you back on the right path and save you from yourself if you will, and possibly from financial ruin. I can't say enough good things about it.

I have researched and experimented with time lock safes for about 6 years and have come to the conclusion that this safe is by far the most effective. Others that I’ve tried are usually very easily overridden rendering them useless. This safe can’t be overridden. It is nearly impossible to break into unless you have serious demolition tools such as a cutting torch. Normal house hold tools will not be effective at breaking into this safe. The timer gives you complete flexibility on times that the safe can be opened and is easily adjusted depending on your schedule. I own probably 15 of these safes at various properties. On 2 occasions I received a defective safe. On both occasions I email the address on the manual and Dan promptly replied and sent a brand new replacement at no cost and zero inconvenience to me. Much like Amazon understands the importance of customer service I believe Dan understands as well. I will remain loyal to this safe for years to come as a result of its superior performance and the fact that it is backed by outstanding customer service.

It's extremely useful and reliable. The only thing is becareful about setting the timer up because if you set it up wrong it wont open!I once locked myself out of it and had to order a new key. They sent it within 24 hours from Italy and were helpful on video chat to get it opened correctly. Overall a great product

Bought this safe to help with a few bad habits and it works well. You can lock up your wallet, small liquor bottles, one or 2 wine bottles, or several energy drinks and set the timer for the day or hour that you want access. There is no way to pry it open without some heavy duty tools and it would ruin the safe. Timer takes a little getting used to, so don’t put the keys in the safe until you are familiar with it.

The one I received was well made and the electronics worked properly.The problem is that the key can open the safe at any time.You can set time periods when the code will not open the safe, but the key will override this.Had to return it.

This safe has been a life saver. I used to have a problem with sleep walking and taking my medication twice because I forgot I had already taken them. Now there is no way to for me to get to my meds until I'm supposed to take them. I've struggled with this for years until I bought this safe. Well worth the money. Thank you!

Ich bin begeistert von der neuen Version des Tresors mit Zeitschloss. Wir hatten schon einen im Büro, aber dieser ist noch deutlich besser verarbeitet. Die Schaltuhr ist elegant in die Tür eingelassen und steht nicht mehr hervor, die Mechanik ist noch einmal verbessert und die Batterie hält deutlich länger (bei mir hält sie nun schon weit über 1 1/2 Jahre). Die Schaltuhr verfügt über 17 Programmplätze, so dass sich für jeden Wochentag die genaue Freigabezeit einstellen lässt. Wir haben den Schlüsseltresor für die Fahrzeuge so eingestellt, dass die Tresore automatisch zur Bürozeit freigegeben sind (Mo-Do 8-17 Uhr und Fr 8-13 Uhr) Die Einstellung ist Kinderleicht, wenn man erst einmal das Prinzip verstanden hat. "Ein" bedeutet, der Tresor kann mit Zahlencode geöffnet werden und "Aus" bedeutet, dass er trotz Codeeingabe nicht öffnet. Die Schaltuhr lässt sich nun beliebig einstellen, wann "Ein" und wann der Mechanismus "Aus" geschaltet ist. Mit dem Schlüssel läßt sich der Tresor jederzeit öffnen, so dass der Fahrdienstleiter und der Chef jeweils einen bei sich führen und zu Hause aufbewahren. So kann nachts niemand an die Schlüssel und selbst ein Einbrecher kann nicht an die Fahrzeuge heran.Inzwischen verwenden wir die praktischen Zeit-Tresore auch für andere sensible Bereiche. Es lassen sich alle Schlüssel und Materialien darin aufbewahren, auf die die Mitarbeiter nur zu bestimmten Zeiten Zugrif haben sollen.Der Entwickler, der auch nach Jahren immer noch persönlich Support gibt und dem es offensichtlich wichitg ist, dass seine Kunden zufrieden sind, hat auf die Anwender gehört und nun sind keine Befestigungslöcher mehr im Tresor (weder unten noch in der Rückwand). Auch insgesamt kann ich nur sagen dass die Qualität der Verarbeitung stimmt. Gutes Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis und bislang ist noch keiner der Tresore ausgefallen oder defekt gewesen.Nur zur Info, der Tresor läßt sich auch per Kopfdruck auf Dauer-EIN umstellen, dann kann man immer den Code eingeben oder auf Dauer-AUS, dann kann der Tresor nur mit dem Schlüssel geöffnet werden (z.B. in den Betriebsferien).Der Code lässt sich übrigens leicht umstellen, dazu gibt es einen versteckten Knopf im Batteriefach. Absolute Kaufempfehlung von unserer Seite!
