Wonderful book, full of pictures and entities in which allows one to better understand business. BUSINESS 101 would be a higher educational value, as many classes go over many ways of which to get a business started, it's not easy however, many problems occur when one is starting a business of ones own, taking much time of which can be eliminated by entering the world of business through a University and or planned endeavor. I.E. Accounting, Psychology, Energy levels of employee's, as well as supplies and various situations of which one will run into. Where do I get the keys to the building of which my business will conduct itself, most people speak of grants, while others speak of loans, leaving one in a hole so to speak. It's not easy but can be done with the help and aid of the community.

Just started reading this book. So far ok. But the layout of the pages is very unsettling for a nice read. Boxes of words all over the page. Almost don’t know where to start on the page. Don’t need a “gimmick” style layout if information/content in the book is good. I will add more on content once I complete reading the book, if I can get through it.

The book successfully covers multiple aspects in relation to how organisations should handle their internal management in order to optimize their throughput and simplify their processes as to innovate and build high quality, low cost solutions focused towards opportune markets that would allow them to prosper and grow (mouthful)

I've only gotten through about 1/4 of the book, and I've already learned a lot about business and many of its important topics. I'm a relative novice when it comes to business, so this may be a walk through the park for some pro's or advanced readers. Illustrations are nice and helpful, and the style is clean. There are more than a couple typos throughout the book, but I'm not that critical of books anyways. The only thing I question about this book is its structure. As a novice, I wonder why some topics are brought up before others, and vise-versa. I can't say this is a detriment to the book, just a personal curiosity.

This book is,a nice light read, presenting various Businesses topics in concise little chapters you can read in five to ten minutes. I picked this up to gain some general Business vocabulary and concepts before starting a graduate Business degree.

The book does two things great. It takes the sound bite of a philosophy and leads the chapter with it. This help you to know whether to spend time on it or not and it shows graphs of the concepts being described. It's a great learning tool.

It's informative and inspirational.

Gosh, this book turned out to be far more fascinating than I had guessed it would be. I mean, business.... sure, it is an important subject, but probably a bit dry, yes?Apparently not!I wanted to know a bit more about the basics of business. Whilst this book may not have covered exactly what I expected, it certainly delivered a really good read. My knowledge of business - and the history of business! - is now much better.I love the snippets about real people and businesses - so much more relatable than just theory. There is a lot of fascinating reading in here.I rationed myself to reading a bit every night, to make it last, hehe. Now I am planning to get more in the same range.

Full of infographics that have very little value, and largely written using 'wooden language'. It's more of a history of business over the years. If you plan on reading this book to find information on how to create or better develop a product or service, save your time. It's clearly written by people who study 'business' as a stricly academic topic, but have never run their own businesses. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 is because I can appreciate that writing a book, even one as lacking as this one, is a challenging task. Well done for completing it, and nothing else.

Enjoyed this book very much! The topics included are well covered, with many great examples. It is easy to understand, and is not tedious to read at all. I studied business administration already, but wanted to brush up on the topics since it has been a couple years. This one did a very good job!

Very complex so if you are really into this sort of book get it but if you don't like reading loads of words then don't.

Good content for a youngster starting to look at what they need to know for a simple business - or indeed any age with a simple business they need a quick guide to whys and wherefores of.
