I agree with another reviewer who found the grammar very poor. It is a very short book and not worth the price. It just repeats facts about Scottish crime which most people already know and wrongly attempts to portray Scotland as a dangerous place to live.

Ok for a short story
Interesting reading in this book but some of the grammar needs to be corrected for example was is used instead of were etc

Back in the day
These stories made the news as I grew up in the 80's. Compelling read for true crime enthusiasts. Great stuff

Filled in the background of famous cases. Facts and figures not reported in the newspaper at the time. Fascinating read.
