The Marksman [DVD]

I seen little bits of pieces of this movie online and I’m not gonna lie. It’s one of the best movies that I’ve seen so far and that’s was the only reason why that I purchased the movie. To sum it up it’s about a family who jumps over the border and that was followed by. I’m assuming the cartel I’m not too entirely sure because I only saw a little bit of it and they were gonna get killed. This guy was working for border patrol and he goes off saying that they’re not allowed to go over the fence and to come with him and that he can get them help or whatever and they were begging not to do that long story short he ends up having to take the boy under his wing because the people that were tracking them down ends up killing the mom and it ends up all down hill but I’m assuming it gets like a lot better

This is a lot better than the negative reviews people have posted. It is not your typical Liam Nesson action movie it does have action but not near as much as his other action movies, this is more of a suspense and inter-relation kind of movie, it does have action and the it's pretty good but not enough to qualify as an action film for most people I would say, but that's not the aim of this movie even though it was marketed that way. It's more about life and the tenousness of life (if that's a word) and people put into circumstances beyond themselves. I thought it was quite good, it's not a masterpiece, but it did make me think. There is approximately three action scenes and they are pretty good, but if you think this is a straight up action film then rent or buy Taken, or Commuter etc. Following IMDB style ratings system I would give it a 6.8 the 5.6 rating is low because, I think, most people were expecting a straight through action film but if you want something with a little more thought, but still entertaining I would check this out.

Watched it once, wanted to watch it again.

A one time watch.
