Q: How do I remove the bottom bracket ? Mine was mailed with it on and I can’t seem to find any way of removing it

Use the securement key turn left for mount, right for box lock. At least that’s how it was 8 years ago when I bought mine

Yes you can use it as long you have a rear rack and no back rest

Yes! I have an old HJC IS-MAX II Modular 3XL. I recommend putting a micofiber cloth on the top of the helmet so it doesn't rub on the lid of the SHAD when you go over bumps.
