OXO SteeL 6-Piece POP Container Set

Pricey but worth it. Highly functional with variety of sizes. Easy to clean.

I hate having a disorganized pantry and these pop containers have solved that problem for me. They seal nicely, can hold a variety of things, and are easy to clean. It has not only cleared up the clutter in my pantry but also made more room for other items. I’ve had mine for months now and absolutely love them. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I expected, air tight containers to keep ingredients fresher longer in pantry.

Even I push the button I still can open the top, just only little tight .

Definity lower quality than the older version. The one on the right I've had for many years and wanted more of the same. This one on the left is this product, the only steel ones I could find from OXO. The lid on the newer version is half as thick, the plastic not as solid/heavy, and like other reviewers, the "locked" lid on the newer one can easily be pried open. I can't pry it open on my old ones at all. Not sure if I'm going to keep these but if this is the only "air tight" OXO steel container, then what's my option?

I spent a lot of money on OXO Steel 6 piece POP Set through Amazon. OXO is usually a good brand so I figured it would be good. But eventually, I was very disappointed. I didn't notice the problem right away but when the container is filled with anything powdery (which was all I ever put in them) then the substance gets on the silicone seal and will not allow the lid to seal anymore. I noticed this with the very smallest of the containers that we kept electrolyte powder in. We used that every day. One day I picked it up by just the lid and the container dropped to the counter--that's just not strong enough for my purposes! So to me, that is pretty bad and indicated a very poor design?! I got them because I make Keto bread and there are a lot of ingredients that need to be refrigerated and I wanted containers that would keep them fresh in the frig but I saw they weren't really doing a good job of that. I thought OXO was pretty much the best on the market so I didn't research it anymore. My BAD!!That was back in 2022 and I found out today that I was only able to return them 3 months later so I missed my opportunity. Bummer! I was at Costco a couple days ago (July 2023) and they offered a set of 6 Pro Keeper Bakers Storage containers (various sizes just like OXO) and I purchased that. They are great! They actually have the same silicone seal on the lid but in addition, the lid has a clasp that comes over that clicks into place, creating a substantial airtight seal and a much better system than the OXO brand.So I would NOT recommend buying this OXO Steel 6pc POP set (AND it's gone up by $20 since I bought it last year!). I now remember one of the reviews saying that they had bought OXO in the past and they were great but the current one had gone down in quality. Guess I should have paid more attention to that! Hope this helps someone!
