A Much Loved Taste of Childhood - Always Remembered
Wow! - I'm so happy to have found this...grew up in Maryland, and this was The soda of my childhood...my parents didn't 'raise' me on soda...didn't drink it everyday (the way most kids drank it later on) so having a soda was a real treat. Haven't had this for YEARS - and wasn't even sure it was still being made...since moving to New England I have Never seen this soda - so I would guess this is still a 'regional' Southern soda (I think it was first made in North Carolina in 1905) and when I was growing up you could always find this in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia etc...Also I well remember their slogan for the soda "Me and my RC" - and I've always loved the blue can and red logo - and wonder of wonders, the soda tastes exactly the way I remember it tasting (didn't 'change' the flavor formula) Love also that I found it in the original logo/nostalgia packaging...great seller as well, came promptly and packed well against damages, 'dents' and spillage...Thank you very much!
