Transformative Coaching
From the first page, and the first questions, Peter Hawkins and Eve Turner hook you into reflecting on how we coach, and how we approach our clients. their sponsors and organizations, as well as the world in which they exist. When we use their approach our conversations are so much richer and impactful for the individual, and the community in which they live and work.Already an important resource on my bookshelf, and one I recommend to new coaches, this is an important book in the evolution of coaching.

Essential reading for all coaches and coach supervisors
This book has already transformed the way that I start the relationship with client and sponsor. The collaborative cycle (Inquiry, Dialogue, Discovery, Design) has encouraged me to spend much more time in the 'Inquiry' phase, considering all the voices that we may bring into the coaching space. Rather than coaching being 'inside-out', this book really encourages the coach to think 'outside-in' and in doing so seek to bring long-lasting value from the coaching intervention, beyond the individual development. What I really love about this book is that you get value from the very first page...the questions that the authors invite the reader to answer are fantastic questions to ask client and sponsor at the very beginning of the potential coaching relationship.

Any serious coach should read this
Great introduction to systemic coaching. It also explains the process of coaching under a systemic view, including some schematics. Wonderful addition to the serious professional coach library.

A timely eye-opener
A must-read for all involved in leadership development. This book marvellously shows us to leave behind the traditional coaching individualistic mindset, look at the larger whole and take responsibility for our contribution to the planet's wellbeing. It highlights the importance of the relationships in co-creating the future. For me, the chapter about contracting gives a meaningful foundation for creating my systemic relationship with all stakeholder - which is actually the role-model of the effective win-win collaborations in my client's system.
