I don't understand how this frame garnered so many high reviews. I was disappointed and returned the frame. There were some reviews that pointed out the sloppy soldering, and this was my experience. On all four corners, the soldering looked like big blobs. Also, the black color of the soldering material was not uniform; it looked like it was scratched off in parts with some other silverish color showing underneath. It was also hard to remove the backing to insert my photo. The perfect picture shown in the Amazon page appears completely Photoshopped in comparison, but the frame I received didn't look like that.

Poor craftsmanship and little care was taken in creating this frame. The solder is very sloppy and it appears to have been stacked upon other frames because the frame coating is scratched throughout. The metal is also crooked. The color is very dark blue, and holding it to a light shows numerous scratches on the glass. Someone saw this and still made the decision to deliver a defective product. Overpriced for the quality provided.

I purchased this frame for a hand drawn portrait of a friend's pet. It was given as a gift and he loved it! It was perfect size and style for the portrait. Even the portrait subject approved!

Beautiful picture frame. I love it!Best positioned where light shines behind the frame to better accentuate the stained glass.I was originally going to position the frame on my armoire, but I changed my mind when I noticed the stained glass looked darker and not as pleasing to the eye w/o a light source behind it.So keep that in mind before buying.Nevertheless, it is a high quality enough frame that it would make a great gift to someone, especially w a photo of your choice in it.Shipped very well packaged, so little danger of it arriving damaged.I definitely recommend this frame.

I love this frame. But I do have an issue with it. You cannot put much in the frame. I have used gorilla tape to keep it closed. The picture I put in it used a mat and there really isn't room for that and the back of the frame. It's still beautiful and I still love it and am using it, just want others to know you can't put anything thick in the frame.

This is a very nice, well made picture frame. However, I like to change the glass in frames for museum glass so it eliminated glare from indoor lighting. Well, surprise! The cover glass is fused to the frame. So if you ever break the front pane, you won't be able to repair it.Word to the wise.

The picture frame is very nice looking for those whom the like stained glass and the mission-style. It arrived fairly promptly and it was well packaged. I would have preferred a more pronounced green color to the glass, it is a lighter shade, but the recipient really liked the color. Also, I wouldn't rate this as being a "warm" gift. It is a metal and glass frame in a cool color.

After purchasing a number of this sellers items, I thought this would be as beautiful as the others. It looks pretty until you insert a photo. The frame is crooked, so when the photo is inserted, there's a light gap in the corner. There's no way to straighten the photo since the frame is rigid metal. I didn't feel like going through the process of a return, so I'm living with it, but extremely disappointed.
