This lamp is not UL certified. Moreover, the manufacturer does not include any of the hardware needed to install the thing. For starters, there are no screws, nuts, bolts. There is no plate included ( the circular kind used for installation of light fixtures on walls or ceilings). The two holes in the back of the fixture are too far apart to fit on the standard circular installation plate.The arm that holds the bulb wobbles and swivels as well. Although we managed to tighten it, it should not have needed to be fixed.I like the design a lot, but the product itself is a piece of junk. We will be sending it back.

I needed a lamp with an up mount because my fixtures were really low (older home issues) and this one fit the modern look I wanted. It is 1/10 of the weight of the previous one I removed and the holes on the fixture are wider than a standard fixture so it is necessary to drill new holes in the base or order an adjustable mount to use it.

Not a bad little light. Worked great for our configuration. The way it attaches to the wall is interesting, and the ground wire is not the best. I would recommend upgrading while installing.
