What a value for the money. Delivers on everything it advertises and more. The picture quality for both day and night settings is great. The app is packed with features and easy to use. I will be ordering more.I had settled on this/these camera rather than a full ip camera (NVR) system due to the major price difference. I was willing to sacrifice the ip streaming and local recording in order for ease of setup and to save a few bucks. I was poking around in the settings and come to realize this camera supports RTSP (realtime streaming protocol) which allows setup with most security camera software. I am impressed by this capability in such an affordable camera.My only gripe (and it is a small one) is that the motors that move the camera were virtually silent when I received the cameras, however now that I have had them mounted (inverted/upsidedown) for several days, you can hear every time the camera tracks motion. I am not sure if this is a result of me mounting the cameras upside-down or not, however I assumed this was alright to do since the settings give you the option to invert the output stream. Clearly this was not big enough of a deal for me to take away a star on the rating.

The quality is great, especially love the night vision. I can see great details. The camera is sensitive and picks up the motions of even moths or bugs flying outside and will follow the movements. The sound is clear and it even picked up sound from the other side of my closed window it sits in. Great price for the quality it provides. Only pitfall is i get alerts constantly to review footage and it is usually the bugs that flew by and set it off but it labels it all "human detcted". Still love and recommend the product though!

Is a very good product at all level: image quality, network reception, realtime notification...It is bigger than what it looks like on the photos but is nontheless a good camera with a friendly app.I just hope it was smaller in size.

This IMOU camera has very good coverage with pan-tilt control in the smartphone. I cannot hear any noise when doing the pan-tilt movement. One surprise is that this camera has one privacy cover that can be controlled via smartphone. Another advantage is the super low video latency (almost less than 1/4 second). The sound latency is normal around 1s.I always want to have one camera with pan-tilt control that can cover the whole room without using multiple cameras. I purchased one Samsung SMARTCAM A1 (only can pan the camera up to 350° not tilt) before, however, the software is very hard to use and cost me more than $200. I also checked other famous brands like Ring and Arlo, but they just do not have any camera that supports pan-tilt control. Mi has one pan-tilt control camera, but I have some problems with the night vision of other Mi cameras. There is a clear "click" sound when the night vision is switched on. When the room has some light and not full dark, the camera's night vision will switch on and off frequently and causing lots of "click" sound. So far, I did not notice the "click" sound problem in this IMOU camera. I did experience one connection error in the initial setup, but I retried again and it works smoothly. I think the initial connection problem is caused by the permission issues in the iPhone. The IMOU camera can automatically connect to the device's wifi without letting you go to the Setting and manually switch wifi. This feature requires the permission in iOS to allow the device to access the local network, after I accepted this permission, the connection is very smooth.

I bought 2 of these cameras, and when I first set them up, they worked great. The motion detection was excellent, it would save a video of each incident to the cloud in high quality audio and video. The second day was a different story. Today, both cameras had several motion detection events, but neither recorded a single thing to the cloud, so I was unable to see what those incidents actually were. On top of that, you're supposed to be able to see a timeline of events on each camera, but, despite the dozen or so motion detection events, the timelines for both cameras were empty. The ability to record motion detection events to the cloud and the ability to look back at previous motion detection events are the two most important features of these security cameras, and they simply do not function. Spend your money somewhere else.

Llevo más de dos años con esta cámara y sigue funcionando a la perfección. La aplicación es muy buena y envía alertas cuando hay movimiento en la casa. La grabación con tarjeta SD funciona muy bien y tiene grabación continúa. Otras que he probado han fallado bastante en ese sentido y no permiten grabación a no ser que uno pague un plan premiun, así tenga memoria SD. La recomendaría mil veces.

These cameras are good and the software is not too bad compared to some competitors.The installation from a recent smartphone however is a royal pain in the neck.The wifi connectivity of the cameras is working on 2.4ghz. Most recent wifi routers use both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. Modern cell phones almost all switch automatically to 5Ghz with no way to switch to 2.4Ghz.Since the camera automatic setup requires the phone to be on a 2.4Ghz connection, this made this auto-setup is useless and impossible to use.The only way to set up the cameras for my wifi network was to plug them on my wired network, add them to the account by scanning the QR code of the camera and set up the wifi of the camera via the device settings while connected via Ethernet cable.In short... These cameras would highly benefit from a hardware upgrade to 5Ghz compatibility... We are in 2021... 5Ghz is nothing new.At the very least it would be nice to have an explanation of how to deal with 5Ghz smartphone connectivity from Imou... Sadly they have no solution on their website and I had to spend my time looking for a solution.Apart from that... Quality is good. I would have loved the camera to be able to tilt down lower than it can (tilt down below horizon) but at least that's documented.
