I purchased this rugged tablet for using in my plant nursery and have used it for a month now. I am very impressed. The battery life is incredible. It's screen visibility, in direct sunlight, is very good and much better than any cell phone I've seen a "shade seeking" customer use, when trying to show me something. Most importantly, it handles the rain, cold and being dropped...all things that happen while working physical jobs outdoors. I also like the fact that it is easy to hold, and that they eliminated the corners, as a "corner drop" is the most potentially damaging. Lastly, this rugged tablet was SUBSTANTIALLY less expensive than all the others on the market. I couldn't be happier.

I have mounted this unit on my adventure motorcycle for use with navigation, rally roadbooks and many other applications. It is a robust and well constructed unit so it will be interesting to see how it stands the test of time with vibration and other exposure to the elements. It sits well in a RAM Tab-Tite holder with 7" cup ends. I would have preferred a more recent version of the Android OS, but everything is working fine as is.

This is a very rugged tablet and worked perfectly for me. Pros: easy to read in bright sunlight, sturdy case, waterproof, handled strong/direct sun for hours on end without overheating. Cons: touchscreen too sensitive and activated with drops of water hitting it, I didn't trust the charge port cap so I used electrical tape to secure it since I was in a very wet environment.

i been using this for jamming loud music with bluetooth solar speakers.at the beach every day for past 3 years and it simply rocks.. i even made a ev car horn go off until the car ended up leaving.. hey i was there first..lol i still have the factory protective film on mine..lol user tip get you a usb magnet wire and tip to charge it.. it works great ..

We incorporate this rugged tablet in a piece of testing equipment that is used in the field. They have held up 100% and we have complete confidence in them. We have purchased from Bix many times and highly recommend.

I was really liking this tablet until parts of the touch screen stopped responding to my touch about 2 months after I received the tablet. The problem is spreading to more and more of the tablet and will so make the tablet useless. I suspect that this is a manufacturing defect and thats why these were sold so cheaply.

I work in -35F to -80F. This -68 operational temperature claim is absolute BS. At roughly -17F this tablet will be inoperable. Not only will the screen be frozen, literally, and not accept input, but it will be unreadable. This is a physics problem. The size and mass of this device just won't cut it. There is no known method to counter these temperatures in a tablet, phone, or laptop. Don't make impossible claims, and ones against industry standards at that.. Come on... Don't BS people.
