Will this work on teak patio decking?

I can't imagine it working if you follow directions. If you must use another product first, then you must follow the instructions. We have teak furniture and have used the product successfully. However, we do cover the furniture in the rainy season. I do not know the weather conditions where you are.

what is difference between this product and Golden protector? Do you need to use both and how often do they need to be reapplied?

Teak shield is a clear application usually applied only to the tops of tables for the purpose of repelling water and food stains. Teak protector has pigment and UV inhibitors designed to maintain the natural color of Teak and prevent weathering. The Teak shield can be used on top of the Teak protector.

Can you apply this teak shield over a teak sealer?

Yes you can absolutely use the shield over a sealer. The key is to make sure that the sealer is completely dry and there is no moisture to be trapped by the shield.

would this work on a very pale bleached oak coffee table (indoors)? I am concerned it will darken the colour of the raw wood or turn it orangey

I don't know about an indoor oak table... I used it on outdoor teak, and it didn't change the color at all, it just sank in.There's probably better things to use on your table, as you know woods have different porosity etc., & you don't want to put something on that cannot be removed.

Nice and easy

Hi already had used the golden care cleaner (not sure if this is the exact name) and I had loved it. This one, is even more incredible. Super easy to apply. Really. Is not possible to make any mistake while doing it, cause it is super liquid, and whiteout colour. At first, I wasn’t sure if it had worked, so I repeat the process, (they recommend to apply twice, I did it three times) but once I was sure it had been absorb all, I drop water on the table, and it made drop repellent effect, all the surface was with little drops. It has been a few weeks since then, and still has the same effect, so I’m happy. As the table it is outside, I imagine I will have to apply it again in some months, but the idea doesn’t bother me at all cause it was so simple. Also as it is a big amount of product, it will last forever ;). The delivery was on time, and the package was perfectly wrapped, even thought it was an international shipping. I highly recommend this product. And if you can combine with the cleaner, even better. (I read a lot before buying this, I wasn’t sure if this will fulfill my needs (I didn’t wanna change the colour of my teak table, neither it’s touch feeling, I didn’t want any shiny, oily or plastic finish, and I think this product is even better that my first thoughts.

Schützt ohne das Holz zu färben

Top. Teaktisch anschleifen, das Öl aufpinseln und der Teaktisch ist vor Wasser und Fettflecken geschützt und behält aber das edle silbergrau. Hält eine Saison, sehr ergiebig.

It does not stop grease or water from penetrating.

I followed the instructions, did two coats of teal shield, let it dry few days before using for first time.. when something fatty dripped on the table. It absorbed into table as if nothing was applied. Not possible to clean it. Every water drop also soaked right in thought dries without leaving a mark. I’m not sure what is the purpose of this shield. Very disappointed.
