35WN65C-B - The UltraWide™ QHD screen (3440x1440 resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio) is great for work. This allows for monitoring of large amounts of footage for video editing, and numerous audio plugins and effects can be displayed at once.

Superb addition to desktop setup for video & photo editing and of course office productivity
Bought this to go with my portable laptops (Dell 14" Windows for work & MacBook Pro for personal use). I like the smaller laptops for portability, but of course once back at home I need a bigger desktop area. For work I have multiple windows open and with this ultrawide you can have 3 documents displayed together plus another window on the laptop. On the Macbook, editing in Lightroom and Final Cut Pro has been a revelation on the Ultrawide. Having this much real estate for FCPX is game-changing.However, I initially had some problems getting it to work with both the Windows and Mac machines. I was using the supplied HDMI cable (as directed in the monitor packaging) and plugging that into a USB-C hub. It simply doesn't work. I tried a number of LG software downloads, but ultimately the answer was to buy a new USB-C to HDMI cable from Amazon, and then plug that directly in to the USB-C port on the laptops - this works perfectly on both. Since upgrading to the new M1 Pro MBP 14" with a built in HDMI, I can plug in to that no problem too - the key seems to be avoiding a USB-C hub.

Better than having two separate monitors
My son uses a 34" wide screen monitor, and I borrowed that for a day to see how I would get on. His wasn't curved, and I did find it irritating that the focal distance varies so much across the screen. I paid the extra or this curved screen 35" monitor, and I'm glad I did. The curve isn't that noticeable, but it makes a huge difference to the comfort of usage.
