Trangia Fuel Bottle (0.5-Liter)

Q: What is the overall height and diameter of this bottle? Is there a good carrier to put it in to attach to the outside of a pack?

The bottle is about 12" tall with lid. It is 3 1/8" in diameter. I don't know of any good carrier to put it in. Since it's so tall I don't think it will fit good in a water pouch you see on most packs.

Q: Would this work for transporting gasoline on a motorcycle?

I also have a MSR bottle is made out of metal and has better cap for transporting gasoline check the msr bottle reviews it gets high marks from motorcycle riders,the trangia bottle is the best to carry denatured alcohol for their stove.

Q: Isn't it strange that 0.3L is the highest?

I bought the 1 liter bottle from the Amazon site.

Q: Is the opening at the top large enough to fit a gas pump nozzle?

I don't have one but I've read the Soto fuel bottles have a mouth wide enough to fit a gas pump nozzle. I don't have a Soto liquid fuel stove but I'd like a Soto liter bottle or two to strap on my motorcycle ... just in case.
