walking my cocker spaniel is dreadful as he pulls a lot considering his medium size, he is pretty powerful and full of energy. this is very effective as i can control his pulling by one hand only that is i recommend this harness for people who have serious pullers

I have been trying to get hold of this specific harness for months following borrowing one from my neighbour who uses them on both her Labradors. I was really impressed as it did reduce the amount of pulling that I have been enduring from my young Kelpie. I have tried a number of harnesses as well as carrying out plenty of training but she was determined to pull. You still need to continue training but because you can steer your dog from the front fastening across the chest, and relax the lead if also fastened to the back, my dog doesn't feel the need to pull as dogs instinctively want to do when they feel pressure from a back fastening harness. Try it as it really does help. May not be the cheapest harness on the market but I think it is well worth the money as it is also very well made and the soft velvet straps do not rub your dog and so it is comfortable for them to wear.

Our dog had bald patches in her armpits - we think from an allergy but the old harness was certainly rubbing and must've been making her sore. She loves her walks, but she'd be reluctant to have the old harness put on. This new one is perfect. She's been happy to have it put on every time. She's a collie crossed with something, with an unusually broad rib cage. It is a little too big for her (we knew it would be) but since she's not the sort of dog that would wriggle out of her harness and bolt, we're not worried about that. We're just so happy she's comfortable! The harness looks lovely, too.

A little tricky to get to right size, but once there no rubbing on dog so comfy for him. Good design as he can’t get his mouth down to chew it, but helps to keep control of he pulls. With training as well as using the harness, our puppy is learning not to pull now and starting to walk nicely.

I purchased the Freedom No -Pull Harness a couple of weeks ago & seriously I never leave reviews BUT this lead is just AMAZING our crazy 18 month old lab used to have my arm out of its socket walking on a regular lead . I have just got back from a 2 mile walk with her and it was fantastic no pulling and very happy to be walking beside me.What a great purchase THANK YOU at last I have control!!

Amazing. My dog pulls like crazy on a normal harness and with this one he may pull for a second and then he stops because it's so well secured. Best of all it doesn't leave him raw and red from pulling like some other harnesses we've tired (and we've tried a lot)
