Encased Shockproof Samsung S21 Ultra Case (Rebel Series) Protective Phone Case for Galaxy S21 Ultra - Blue

I saw a review of this case (in black) on YouTube and before that I had never even heard of Encased.I then searched on Amazon and it was available to purchase however then came across the blue version which is simply beautiful.The case is a one piece design made of plastic and the phone just pushes into it and stays securely in place.The back portion is pretty solid plastic and the sides are slightly softer but still quite solid.There is a nice grip around the edges but the case is still a little slippery in the hands, however compared to my Spigen Tough Armour the grip is not as good.This case is raised higher than the camera bump thus provides some protection when placed on its back and prevents the camera from touching surfaces.On the front the case is raised all around the screen, again providing some protection for the screen from drops.All other ports and openings e.g. mic holes have perfect cutouts.Some reviewers say this is a cheaper version of the Otterbox series of cases, however I have never owned an Otterbox so cannot confirm this.All in all this is an amazing case that offers great protection for your expensive device at a reasonable price..I hope this review helps...

I really wanted to like this case because the protection it offers looks good... BUT the are two major issues with the design:1/ the material used although seems tough, it is quite slippery and slipped out of my hand within the first few minutes.2/ the biggest issue is once the phone is in the case, the volume and side/power buttons don't work... making the operation of the phone impossible. Looking at how the design of the actual case, basically there is a major design flaw; normally with this type of case the buttons have indents in the case for the buttons of the phone to sit in. With this case, there are buttons moulded in the case that should line up and sit on top of the phone buttons when the phone is inserted... such a bad design I am surprised anyone has had any success.Would NOT recommend at all, I have sent back.

Fitted really well, even over the buttons. Looked great on. I was however conscious of having the screen unprotected as I would usually have a flip cover (with a front. You know the covers that open like a book) on my phone so I could chuck my phone in my bag with keys and not have to worry about the screen.It depends what you prefer. If you don't mind having nothing covering the screen then this is a great purchase. I LOVE the blue colour...it's more of a deep sea blue-green.You also might want to add a finger ring thing stuck into the back of the cover to help hold the phone as it's big/heavy, but also to prop the phone up at an angle if your watching a movie or something. Would really advise adding one of these.I wiped the back with an alcohol wipe and the metal ring stuck on fine to the encased cover.-Photos show I have stuck on my own clear camera cover and a pic showing front and how well it fits, with slightly raised edges which protect the screen. It doesn't get in the way of the curved edge.(Photos were taken before I stuck the metal finger ring on the back of the cover).

Feels great in the hand, grips well but not great, build quality is very good. Inside case has Inner shock resistant for the back of the phone feel like hard TPU not soft, front lip top and bottom for screen protection. phone fit, feels secure. The case itself adds bulk around an extra 4mm width.

Case is alright but it's a bit slippery and you've got to get use to that. In worse case scenario phone could slide down from desk or hand

I've only had this case for a few days, slips out my hand at times but i have a big phone ans my hands are tiny. Great case.
