Perfect collapsible walking pole!
Ok, I've owned this collapsible walking pole since November 2019, so I'm now in a good position to review its long-term durability. I have travelled through Africa and walked hundreds of miles all around the UK with this walking pole over the past five years, and it still operates as well as the day I bought it! It's strength, durability and ease of operation is unsurpassed in my experience. It's really well designed, collapses down easily and is very sturdy and stable when fully extended. You can also adjust it easily to suit your own height (you need to choose the right size, large or small for your height though). I just cannot praise this walking pole enough and would highly recommend it. I don't always write reviews, but after 5 years of trekking all over with this pole, it more than deserves a glowing review from me - great job Trekrite!P.S. To extend the pole, pull out the pole from the top end, and then the lower sections of the pole will slot into the top end of the pole. Then pull the top end of the pole fully out until the silver metal 'button' secures it in place. I remember that this confused me at the beginning but it is very easy to extend and collapse the pole when you work this out. You can then release the catch at the top to adjust the pole to your preferred height, and then close the catch to secure it in place again.

Fantastic Lightweigth Pole That Fits In A Rucksack
I bought this pole to use whilst trekking the 3 peaks (single pole as I was holding a dog lead in the other hand). I have to say I've been SO impressed. Very light, comfortable, certainly sturdy enough (take it from me it was really put throught its paces up Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon!) and folds up small enough to fit inside my 30 litre backpack. As for the assembly and disassembly ... I can't understand why all the negative comments on this, it is very, very easy - Trekrite even email you a video and send pictorial instructions. I just hold it upright, the sections then automatically slot into each other and then pull down the top section (clearly marked with the word "pull" !) until it clicks. Then just adjust to your required length as you would any other pole. To take apart just press in the silver button ... simples!Very highly recommended.Edit: FYI I'm almost 5'9" and I went for the smaller size and it was perfect.

Sturdy
Easy to unfold and set up, only shame was it only came with one ferrule even though it says it comes with two, nice and lightweight, hopefully it will be strong enough to last, time will tell

Great Walking Pole
As somebody who needs that little extra support over rough or muddy terrain this pole was perfect. Company, lightweight and easy to assemble it is perfect for the price that it is. I’ve used it many times and it’s going strong.

Looks good.
Lightweight but seem strong. The photos online are accurate.Although, I do a fair amount of walking, I’ve never used poles before but am soon going on a walking holiday and they have been fairly strongly recommended.I am 5’ 9” and bought two in the small size which seem plenty big enough. Folded, they are under 40 cm.Having read other comments about assembly, I was prepared to find it a bit of a challenge. Reassuringly, I also received an email from the sellers with helpful instructions and a number to ring if I needed to talk to someone. Fortunately, I didn’t need help but it was good to know it was there if I did.Fingers crossed I get to use them and find them useful!

Mainly a very good product.
Worth noting that the rubber ferrel barely survived 90 miles on hard surfaces.

Arrived either broken or has a bad design
Arrived either broken or has a bad design. The internal cord holding it all together was attached to the second piece of the stick, not the top where the handle is. As a result the cord was too long and every time I litfed the stick it would fall apart as there was not enough tension in the internal cord holding it all together
