Plane Geometry Practice Workbook with Answers Review: A great workbook to practice for high school geometry problems - Plane Geometry Practice Workbook with Answers is a fantastic workbook of problems suitable for high school students. I purchased this workbook for my son who was struggling with understanding quadrilaterals and triangle constructions. The numerical problems helped working through some of the proofs. My only issue--a small issue--is that about 50 pages of a 200 page workbook are dedicated to solutions and a glossary. I guess there is no way around this right? Review: Not accessible for screen readers - I downloaded this book to get a further understanding of geometry, however it doesn’t work with a screen reader. So if you’re blind then you’re not able to gather anything from this book.

Not for beginning students
This is more of a review. It is not written for teaching beginning students.

My son starts with the problem questions. There are 20 to 30 in each chapter. If he can't do any of them, he'll back track to the examples. If that doesn't help, then go to the beginning and read the whole thing. There's also a solution section. Makes this a great book for self-learning. There would be 2-3 questions that he simply can't figure out and need help on those.

The quality of each chapters (covered subjects) is uneven. Many barely explain the subjects before moving to exercises, and not necessarily in a clear manner. The exercise sections introduce uncovered material with no more than hinting notes from the author like "It may help to know the quadratic formula". That's it, now have fun solving this without any more help from the book. Also the majority of the exercises are just theoretical proofing, so you're just moving expressions, formulas and and doing substitutions. Not very practical for real life geometric associations.
