Really Loved These, At First!
Don't buy unless you can solve problem of adhesion.Love everything about them...ease of installation, blackout feature, ease of use and maintenance and still look pretty but for adhesion issue from the first. Adding more adhesive, trying double sided tape, super glue, NONE of it worked. Everytime I think my "fix" did the trick I am back to squre one two days later. It is not the window frame but the adhesive used by the company as it is always the same, but different location on each shade, that start to sag a couple days later and my fixes are still attached to window sash/frame.I bought 2 and I am on a fixed income so buying new ones not an option at this price. I have also wished the company offered a fix.

Not the same As two years ago
Two years ago, I bought 4 of these and they're great they stay up and they're sturdy recently. I bought two more for a different room and they fall off, when opened they Hang crooked, and the ones in the sunniest window, dried out and fell apart

Fantastic!!!!
Fantastic!!! Purchased 5 so far and will probably get more. 3 fir the windows perfectly so no cutting required. The two that did require cutting I used a kitchen butcher knife and after putting a little weight into it it was no problem. Only one adhesive came loose but after a firm press it hasn’t budged in a couple of weeks. Black out and light filtering are excellent. Compared to the alternatives this is a great buy, look fantastic, and super customizable!

Great, but needs some upgrades.
These blinds are great for blocking out the sun, I mean 0 light gets by these! So, the issues. They suggest cutting these with a knife which is hard to do and the plastic piece keeps moving which makes the edges uneven and not smooth. Which easy fix find a new way to cut them. 2nd the tape at the top does not stick well. It does if you do not plan on opening and shutting them very often. Fix? pop some screws in the tops and your good to go. It may be because our window seals have cracks along the top where they where pieced together and not completely smooth but that was the issues we had arise. I would still purchase more. I ordered 5 small and one XL for my picture window (which sticks better, but the top is a solid different material not wood like my other windows)

A great product with a potential flaw
I have several windows with these shades- both the blackout and standard "paper" variety. I installed the first batch three years ago and I couldn't be happier. They had been intended as temporary but they work so well I just decided to stick with them. I purchased another in mid march this year and it installed as easily as the others, however a couple of weeks after hanging it, the outer coating separated from the foil inner layer (as you can see in the picture). Had I not installed several of these units earlier I might have chalked it up to poor installation, but I believe it is product defect. Unfortunately I was well past the 30 day return policy- I did not install them immediately after they arrived because as any carpenter or handyman can attest, your own home gets fixed last. So, I can't give this product a five star rating, even though it probably deserves one (at least a 4), when one out of the 8 sets that I installed delaminated. It's still a remarkable product, easy to use with shocking longevity that is above what is advertised. They are tricky to cut- the whole see-saw kitchen knife method is iffy and almost dangerous, but I find that prescoring with a good utility blade helps significantly. I recommend it, but make sure you install ASAP if you get the blackout model as you may need to return it.
