Balls and Rim should be identical, they have no need to replace those. The outside is actually 1" wider, probably due to the post redesign.

Q: Will this warp in 115 degree Vegas summers?

In extreme heat, the unit will more susceptible to colors fading when not covered, and you may experience variance in the lifespan of your batteries if you leave them in the scoreboard unit full time.
