This liqueur really does taste like liquid peanut butter with a whisky kick!!!It's strong for a liqueur (at 35% abv) so is very warming, with an unmistakeable peanut butter flavour and aroma ... it reminds me of hot toast with peanut butter on a cold morning!I first bought this back in 2023 and have just bought another bottle because it's on offer & I couldn't resist1TOP TIP: pour a generous measure of SheepDog into a (largish!) liqueur glass and top with a cream liqueur such as Bailey's or similar, allowing the Bailey's to float, for a real taste-sensation (peanut butter on hot toast, with coffee!). DELICIOUS!

I’m really not sure “peanut” is the dominant flavour, however it matters little because this whiskey is absolutely wonderful.It’s not going to be to everyone’s taste as it is sweet and non traditional, but if you have a sweet tooth (think Baileys) chances are you’re going to love this. It’s like liquid butterscotch. Best served thoroughly chilled in my opinion.The sad thing is, it’s so deliciously moreish, I’m going to have to simply not buy it - at least not very often - because I can’t leave it alone. You’ve been warned(!)

This has a real kick but is very smooth and pleasant to drink. Usually much cheaper on Amazon unless a specific deal in supermarkets !Be warned, it’s addictive !

It shouldn't work - peanut butter and whisky - but it does. I'm sure that the flavour may well be the "marmite" of the whisky liqueur world but I came across it as a miniature in a selection pack and had to go out and buy the full bottle.I love the humour that the makers have built into the labelling of the Sheepdog brand - 70% woof indeed.

My husband absolutely loves this drink. Wouldn't be great a gift for someone who loves peanut butter and whisky. He likes to have it as a shot but would go well with lemonade or other mixers of your choice

Really delicious and dangerously drinkable. Batches seem to vary a bit, with some very peanutty and others tasting more like Bailey's. Either way it is bordering on addictive. I hate whiskey, but this is really smooth and doesn't burn.
