This a very "quality" looking and slim scale that takes up very little footprint or storage area. It's very accurate and runs on 2 AAA batteries so you don't have to hunt the cord and plug it in. I'm very pleased, especially since I got a discount as it was a "Today's Deal" item, but I'd pay full price for this scale. It allowed me to replace a chunky, heavy corded scale I'd been using.

I have read all the other reviews and I see that all others are absolutely in love with scales and these are very cute - thin - nice looking scales , that are very light weight and easy to handle and use. The tare function is great and very helpful and to top it off they come with batteries so there's no need in having to go on a hunt for those . Also it has a very easy to clean surface and a bright readable LCD display which will convert your measurements into g , oz , lbs - all in all pretty good deal ! I did have some issues while testing the measuring though . I started out by measuring a nickel which should weigh 5g but this scale measured it at 4g ( I tried 10 different nickels and always got 4g except when it would be flashing back and fourth from 4-6 but never 5 , its like it wanted to say 5 but just went right back to 4) So I tried putting 2 of the same nickles on it and guess what it weighed 10g ( which is right) but how can it get 10g when they were both weighed in at 4g well my guess it's A- having problems reading lower weights or B- it's having a problem hitting the 5 I also tried a penny which weighed in at 3g and should be 2.5g and a few other things which were off as well . Now these are pretty good scales for food and stuff like that as long as them being slightly off does not bother you . which the little bit they're off doesn't bother me , I have found them to be very useful for weighing my food (because I'm trying to loose a few lbs lol ) but if you need them to right on the money precise then these might not be the scales your looking for“I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review”

Perfect for my small kitchen! I use it regularly. The display is easy to read and I love the different options for measurements.

I tested this scale and it tared. Then I wiped the surface with a damp cloth to clean before using. It would no longer tare. There are no instructions that say not to wipe with a cloth. but it clearly is not meant to be used with food, since you must clean when using for food. It is also too small to use with a taring container. This product is useless for the kitchen, since you can not clean after use.

Have trouble zeroing out scale. The unit fluctuates +/- 20 grams. Decided to use scale as a backup.

Der Artikel kam pünktlich und gut verpackt bei mir an.Der Artikel befindet sich zusammen mir der Anleitung in einer kleinen Pappschtel.Die Oberfläche ist zusätzlich mit einer Schutzfolie versehen, diese kann man aber auch drauf lassen, sieht garnicht so schlecht aus in blau. Schön und praktisch finde ich das gut ablesbare und beleuchtete Disyplay.Ich habe mit Testgewichten die Genauigkeit geprüft, in der Mitte, in den Ecken und am Rand. Es gibt höchstens eine Abweichung von 0,01 %.Die Batterie hält auch sehr lange.Ich kann die Waage nur weiterepfehlen.

Item comes with the two AAA batteries needed (in a recess of the bottom of the polystyrene casing). It comes in the polystyrene casing along Ruth a little instruction leaflet explaining the buttons, and all fits neatly into a sturdy box. I opted for a blue set and it arrived with a glass protector film on it which I was impressed with. It is a product made in Asia so the instruction manual is basic. It shows images of buttons with wording, neither button on the product itself are labelled. However this isnt an issue. The working is simple. You place a small container on the scale, then press the left button to set it to zero, thereby discounting the weight of that plate or bowl or jug- whatever you're using. You can then put the ingredients into whatever you're using and by pressing the right button you scroll through the available weights - from metric to imperial you can use a number and it makes using a variety of cook books using different weight measurements easy. Just scroll til you find the right one. If an error occurs then you've gone heavier than the scales can weigh. Simple, clean design. I love them!
