I like the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Essential E3 Trail Camera, Brown, the clarity of the picture during the day and the second picture is at night time, and it shows how the light iluminates the area. The third picture is late in the night and I can the area where I set up the camera. It is easy to use, the settings are not complicated at all. Someone can set the settings the way they want it. You can choose to have video as well. There is no sound but, the important thing here is the picture quality, clarity, and the sensor activates when there is someone in the are or not, and the light that comes out from it. Someone can set the sensor high or normal, the intervals, and the amount of time to have video record it.Hope my review helps someone in making a decision on the purchase of Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Essential Trail Camera. Perhaps, Amazon Prime Day is approaching I will buy another one. I wish I knew that I can install this cameras myself. I had installed video survaillance cameras but, the problem was there was no way to install another camera that will be showing this area.

I bought this camera as had been lent one by a friend. However I failed to notice subtle differences between his and the one I ordered - they seemed identical but I was wrong. This camera does not have a hybrid setting - where the camera takes stills before capturing video of the same event. That was my error and I have learned a massive lesson - but you do need to dig down into the specific capabilities of the camera you order beforehand.The nighttime video is clear, I haven't taken any stills with it.Good video quality in daylight.As other reviews have pointed out, the length of nighttime video recording is limited to 15 seconds - not ideal at all. The time is much longer in daylight.The video sizes are 1280x720 or 640x360The battery section of the camera is fiddly - you would be best to fit the batteries in from the outer edge (next to where the clasp is that closes the camera) and work inwards.You can set the interval between shots down to 1 second.If you use the camera to format your SD card you will get the Bushnell logo and other bits of stuff on the bottom of your pics/videos. Suggest you use your laptop to format the SD card.It's fine for videos at night and I will continue to use it but it's not the camera I was hoping for.Onto my other issue....I also had no idea when I ordered this camera from the Amazon page that this item was being sent from a supplier in the USA. It did arrive at the allotted time, even with the Covid crisis. Delivered by Fedex and they notified of tracking.However - there is a hidden charge - as with most imports you get additional charges - Import Duty. If you get the item by post the Royal Mail levies the charge. On this occasion it was delivered by Fedex and I have now received an additional £29.06 charge from them to be paid to them!!!! They call it an advancement fee. It's all very clear on the Fedex website (GB duty and tax).I would suggest looking at ordering this camera or any other from a UK store in future.EDIT -UPDATEThe night time LEDs have failed just over a year later. Waiting to hear if it's under warranty and what can be done but not holding my breath as I'm expecting to have to return to US at significant cost let alone the cost of reimporting it should they be able to do anything !
