Rip off / Misleading/ False Information
I just bought this. I opened the package to find this tiny little bottle of mask. WT? I didn’t expect it to be so tiny. My bad, for not checking the ounce of the product. But for $22 I expected a good sized product that would be useful to me not one more appropriate sized for a toy Barbie doll! Also, I always check ingredients. Ingredients here on this very Amazon page says, “Papaya and Pineapple Enzyme, Paypaya Enzyme, Pineapple Enzyme, Bromelain Enzyme”. It doesn’t say anything else about the ingredients. I purchased it thinking I was getting a very pure product without additives and chemicals. Soon as I pulled the tiny tube from its Amazon package I checked to confirmed the ingredients. This has Poly vinyl Alcohol and Poly Vinyl Glycol and SD Alcohol as the first 3 chemicals and there are more. I specifically didn’t want ingredients like alcohol as I have very sensitive skin. This is disappointing. It’s also misleading about its size based on photo and false advertising based on the ingredients listed. Very Unhappy. I can’t use this product.

So/So
Not terrible, not great. I exfoliate my face quite frequently, so I think so someone who doesn’t exfoliate as often as I do they might have seen much better results.

Like spreading epoxy on my face.
When this mask arrived the tube was tiny (think free sample size), dirty, and covered with layers of UPC stickers that weren’t easy to remove. I suspect it had been sitting in a warehouse for awhile, possibly since 2017 based on a stamp on the tube. Once I removed all the stickers to see the instructions (sooooo annoying), they simply said to apply generously, wait 20 minutes and peel. On my first attempt I didn’t apply it generously enough and had to rinse it all off. A week later I tried again and swear I used a full third of the tube. This mask is so ridiculously thick, it’s really hard to get an even layer. It’s like trying to squeeze old glue out of a clogged nozzle and then spread it on your face...crazy, crazy thick. On my face there was very mild tingling, which I don’t mind. After 20 minutes much of the mask had dried and was lifting off my skin on its own, and the rest was easy to remove...almost in one piece! I did get a little of the mask in my hairline...ouch! Once I washed the loose bits off and let everything dry, my skin was a bit smoother, but nothing dramatic. So, the results were okay, the product is difficult to work with, and I’m pretty sure I received old stock. There are far better options out there and that offer equal, if not better results. I won’t be ordering this item again.

Make sure you apply thick enough
Make sure you apply this MD Enzyme Peeling Mask thick enough or you will have trouble removing it and it will not be as effective at exfoliating your skin. You get a 1oz tube of this product. It's clear and thick and resembles airplane glue in texture and appearance. The directions say to apply generously to the face, avoiding the eye area and then leave on for 20 minutes before peeling off. Avoid getting it on your hair, too, as it''s very hard to get off without pulling hair out.I have oily skin and exfoliate several times a week. I found this mask to be just so-so as far as results. It's not bad but I have better results with a fruit acid lotion.

its not pain free.
this was my 1st peeling mask ive done... Ive reviewed a lot of facial masks that u put on and wash off, but this was the 1st one I had to ripp off my face!! my boyfriend LOVES these kinds of things... he is always asking for masks to peel from his face. I was pleased when I finally found this one for him.there was a sticker on the back of this tiny tube that blocked the instructions for applying this mask. that was super annoying b/c it wasnt just 1 sticker... it was 2!!! and I dont know what kind of glue was on the back of them, but it was difficult to rip off and then remove the residue. so for those of u who can't see the directions:generously lather on and leave on 20 minutes.we were clean from our showers and opened the safety seal on the tube. we squeezed out the clear super STICKY AND STINKY goop... it feels like glue going on ur face. I complained the whole time and he was in the background saying, "1 and done for u I guess." u got that rt!! it says to keep it away from ur eyes, but its not harsh enough to burn ur eyes from the chemicals. I would recommend not putting it anywhere near ur HAIRLINE, b/c this stuff can pull out hairs! we set Alexa for 20 minutes and waited. 7 minutes later, it hardened on our faces. at about 15 minutes we both started moving our faces around and could feel the mask pulling away. finally, Alexa went off and it was time to peel it off!!!! yah!! ahhh actually I mean NO YEAH!! brace urself people the cheeks hurt! I have a high tolerance for pain and I thought the removal of this mask was painful. after a while, he had to pull it off for me, bc I was whining too much. he went slowly removing it and so I just said, "rip it off quickly and get it over with!!" ahhh so that's the secret!! so when u go to remove this mask from ur cheeks, rip it off as fast as u can... ur nose is no big deal and neither was the forehead. if he wanted to do this again... I guess I would say yes... so I guess that means I liked it. I hope this was helpful.

Great facial mask
It's been a long time since I used a facial peeling mask. With two toddlers I haven't had much time to take care of myself lately. That's why when I saw this product for review I jumped at the chance to get it. I saw that this is supposed to be enough for 4 applications. Being the thrifty mom that I am, though, I tried to apply it very thin to get more life out of it. Yeah, not a good idea. When it was time to take it off, I couldn't peel it off and ended up having to wash it off my face. Don't make the same mistake I did! It did leave my face feeling soft and smooth, though.**I got this product free for review. All thoughts expressed are solely my own.
