As a regular Target shooter at the range, this thing works great for splatter burst targets as it keeps them from getting scratched....handy, got a pocket for tape and a stapler.. it works.

I'm taking two different art classes at a local community college and need different supplies for each. This bag/case carries it all and then some. Once filled I weighed it and it was 18 lbs filled with my supplies. The bag itself only weight probably 1 lb. The large section hold my 18x24 inch newsprint pad, large box of pastels and other flat items. The other pockets are great for pencil cases and other items. The long compartment I keep a long water bottle in and/or rolled up papers. The straps and handles seem strong enough to withstand the large amount of weight I'm carrying, even for the long walk from the college parking lot. If the confidence in the ruggedness of the straps and handles changes I'll be sure to post an update to this review. I highly recommend this bag.

I got this for art school and it is great. I can put 18x24 newsprint paper pads in the Big pocket, A poster roll with my large format drawing paper rolled up inside in the tall pocket, then there is a medium pocket that can hold 11x14 sketchbook and my laptop, finally there is a small pocket up top for my pencils and erasers and little things like that. I like how I can use it as a backpack or carry it with a handle like a briefcase. I noticed other people are complaining about the zippers. Personally I have not had a problem with them but I can tell I do need to be gentle and careful not to over stuff the bag

This is extremely useful for college art/engineering projects! Very helpful and spacious!

From all appearances, the backpack looks like it appears in the photos. My bought a similar backpack a couple of years ago, and I was very impressed with the size. I have friends who enjoy kayaking and fishing, so I thought the s would be the perfect gift for them. I have been unable to give this to them, but I'm sure they will enjoy it and use it regularly.As to the quality, etc., I can't say one way or the other whether this backpack will meet expectations for anyone. All I can say, though, is that my daughter's backpack has held up very well since she purchased it.

I have been looking for this FOREVER! The long tubular pocket accommodates an Expandable Artwork Storage Tube from Hobby Lobby with extra room. Maybe you could squeeze in a small folding easel. Main pocket a 16x24 sketchbook or a canvas. A 10x18 outside pocket. 6x11 mesh pocket. 5x10 zipper pocket for pens, pencils, brushes. Portfolio soft rubber handle, X-stitched. Backpack handle to assist putting it on and hanging. 2 vented and padded straps, adjustable. Feels water resistant on outside. Tubular pocket has thin rubber lining as well as the other 2 outside zipper pockets. I will have to buy another one as well for other art mediums!

Very good bag I bought this for collage and it was a great holder for my coffee when I needed to rush across the silly campus!

This is a good bag, but if the top zipper breaks you will have to order another one. They are fairly cheap, but keep this in mind before you order.
