Anchor Hocking Heritage Hill 1 Gallon Glass Jar with Lid, Set of 2

I was looking for a good-sized candy jar for my desk and was pleasantly surprised by these. So many items on Amazon end up being smaller than expected not the case here. These jars are exactly the size you'd hope for, with a solid half-gallon capacity that holds a generous amount.I was expecting thin, fragile glass, but these are thick, heavy, and feel very durable. The lids fit well and add to the classic, clean look. They’ll be perfect for candy, snacks, or even office supplies.The only minor issue is that the rim of the jar has a sharp square edge. It would have been nicer if it were more rounded for a smoother feel when reaching in.Still, for the price, this is an excellent buy. Great quality, classic design, and very functional. Highly recommended!

I really love these huge jars. The size is perfect, and glasses quality. They sit outside on the patio holding bird seed and feral cat food. And they look really nice.

We have friends staying with us who lost their home and everything they own in the Altadena Fire, the daughters birthiday soi gave a party, these jars are beautiful. I used one for candy and one for coffee in the kitchen. I just reordered another set of 2 one gallon jars today,, THE JARS AND LIDS ARE GLASS WITH JUST EASY LID LFT. THE LIDS DO NOT SEAL, THEY REMIND ME OF THE CANDY JARS IN THE CANDY STORES LIKE DISNEY OR SIX FLAGS AND KNOTTS BERRY FARM. I RECCOMEND THESE. This jar is perfect for my jar pond. I had a pond on the deck but was dealing with weather changes (daily, Michigan) so often it wa creating so many problems with my plants and snails, shrimp and fish. Now my jar is indoors in my hobby room window. I was looking for big enough for what I wanted and also strong enough for the amount of water I wanted to use. This jar is 2 gallons and is very strong and sturdy. I love it!! Have the substrate, sand and some plants in already and have started adding snails and when the water quality is good enough I will add a small amount of fish. It’s takes some time for the plants to get enough air into the water since I am not using an air pump. Can’t wait to get my fish in! Will add a photo after I get the water cleaned up.

I bought these for my betta fish because the tanks available are under a gallon and suck . The only issue I have is one of my lids had a big chip in it . Since it’s not cracked I’ll just keep it.

These are a great value for the price. Thick glass, heavy weight, perfect for storing dry goods. I used them for rice and beans in my pantry. They do not seal but they lids fit the canister well. I will be buying another set for laundry items.
