For 30 bucks it works
The rear Saturn light pole is not adjustable like in picture it is a three piece pole you need to screw together not terrible but not what is advertised. Be careful with battery caps they are to fine of thread for what the material is mad out of will strip easily if not careful. Will be a great set if need a back up to actually 2 prong wired in style but don’t expect them to last more than a year of use

Good for a small boat but not super durable
I bought these for my 10ft boat. Great to be able to take off during the day and quickly clamp them on as it gets dark. The lights work great but I have had someone knock one when getting in the boat and it snapped the plastic clip pretty easily. So it spent most of the day in the bottom of the boat and water got into it and it was done. But for the money I think this is a great option so I bought a second set and it is still going strong.

Works Great on My Pontoon Boat
Attached easily to the front rail of my pontoon boat. The starboard light quit and the wiring is bad, so I needed a quick fix for the 4th of July fireworks display. I don’t usually stay after dark, but it was necessary on the 4th. This light worked fine and kept me from getting a $200 ticket!

Solid and Works Well
This light set works well. Bought to add to a small john boat for nighttime use. Attaches easily and the lights are very bright.

Not water proof, barely water resistant
Installation was simple and for the money they do what they should... until you go to replace the batteries and notice that the seal they put on to keep moisture out does literally nothing. Springs and batteries rusted horribly, I have to loosen the stern and click it a few times and tighten it back on to get it to come on, bow lights not much better other than the button doesn't seem to stick.

Great
Easy to install and does the job. Very nice to be able to put on and take off my little boat. Good product.

Very poor quality control.
The stern light takes several clicks of the button to turn on.The bow light failed after the first use. It appears that the seal allowed moisture inside leading to catastrophic battery failure. The unit was only used once and was 20 days old when it failed to operate.Otherwise, this design is perfect for my simple 18 foot skiff. I am fairly certain that if I am late getting back to the ramp beyond sunset, the USCG will let me slide with an "A" for effort. The bow light clamps securely to the deck. I clamp the stern light to the outboard tiller bracket. The height is just right with 3 sections.Amazon's return policy is amazing. I will return the defective light at Kohls today and a replacement will arrive tomorrow. As far as Attwoods quality, I am hoping that this one was a lemon that slipped past QC.I will update this review after I receive and use the replacement.8/16/20 The replacement arrived the next day as promised. After several months of use, the lights continue to work well. They do collect a little moisture in the "waterproof" battery compartment after a week of use. This is most likely do to expansion and contraction of air inside the compartment pulling in the humid Florida atmosphere. I am updating my rating from one star to three. I should not have to shake the moisture out weekly on a watertight marine light.

Easy fix
Bad switch on navigation lights and this was so much easier, just clamp on. Wish the stern light was taller but would have to come up with a more stable way to attach.Haven’t fixed the switch yet but really don’t need to.These are on my pontoon boat but probably designed for Jon boat or runabout.

Really cheap quality material... durability was not a design consideration.
The media could not be loaded. The bracket and pole that come with this is a slapp in the face forbalmost 60 dollars. Cheap metal bracket, screws sre in the way making the bracket almost useless in a horizontal bracket config. Attachment for the light to the pole is a sigle wobly loose rivet. Lights seem cheap but ok. If it wont mount properly i am returning it. And honestly its supposed to be going the back of a 14ft boat with a 9.9hp motor, this thing looks like its going to vibrate appart. Pictures to follow.

Not as pictured ... Crazy overpriced.
Not as pictured ... Pictured is telescopic, 'threaded' is what you get...You know those dollar store 3 AAA flashlights that has a button on the back that tends to fail? That's what these lights are like, slightly larger, with a couple of clamps.. I donno if the button/switch is as faulty as the dollarstore lights but they sure feel almost identical. These should be $12 tops...The dollarstore flashlights come with batteries... These do not. Shaft is plastic, cheaply made... I feel they might fall apart from vibrations if mounted to transom with outboard... Clamps shouldn't, but the rivet holding the light on might shake off.

Limited Option Solution
I bought these lights to put on my 14' jon boat that I use for fishing and duck hunting. They're a great alternative to lugging around a heavy battery and running wires around the boat. I've only used them for one season but they held up nicely in the cold and rain very well. The clamps they came with are decent quality but a poor design, chances are you'll need to come up with an odd solution to mounting at least one of them.
