Q: Does this antenna mount need to be grounded?

If the antenna is mounted outdoors, yes, though there is no specific grounding for the antenna mount. There is a likelihood that lightning may be attracted. Ubiquiti has a surge suppressor that should be inserted in the line to provide the protection, when installed per the manufacturer's recommendations.

Q: Will this swivel fairly easily? I am looking for something that will allow me to attach an antenna that can be raised and lowered regularly.

It's not intended to do so as the recommended mounting is with clamps. However, you might be able to make it semi-able to do so. If you're wanting to do so regularly I think you may have to make some more major changes to the mount and/or the clamps and/or pick a location close to say a window verses having to use a ladder or something mobile to access it.

Approximately 4" wide by 10" high.
