Waited over a year to review this, because I wanted to see how it lasted. We have used it regularly, and it's still in great condition. Performs all functions extremely well, easy to use and clean, and great value for money. Before this we had a Kenwood - top of the range model, four times the price - and were extremely disappointed. This is better in every way, and much better looking. Highly recommended.

This was bought for my 13 years old grandson. He's a super wee chef and bakes all the time. The Gourmet professional kitchen machine is a beautiful bit of kit, but and it is a small but, its a bit noisy. Everything on the machine works well and is easily cleaned. If you want something that looks very elegant and keeps someone any from playing games on his computer all day, then this is a fantastic addition to any kitchen. You won't be hiding it in a cupboard, its too good looking for that. Therefore it's 4* from me folks

This is a really good stand mixer. Easy to use and clean with everything you need. The same spec on a Kenwood is £500. The quality is amazing, the jug is thick heavy glass not cheap plastic. The machine is metal bodied and doesn't move around the worktop when in use. In fact it takes a lot of pulling to move it, it's that stable. Very happy customer, thank you

A useless piece of kit. Bought this as I make lots of cakes for my family. It is hopeless at beating sugar and fat together - just like other customers have found, it presses the ingredients to the side of the bowl and fails to beat it together at all except for a tiny little lump in the middle so those ingredients get over beaten while the rest don't get beaten at all.. A totally frustrating experience trying to make a cake with this- how can it be so rubbish at it's primary function? Unfortunately I didn't use it until after the return window closed, so I am left with a very expensive blunder.

I bought this to help with cake making. Sadly, the beater does not reach the sides or base of the bowl and only forms a small ball of mixture in the centre. Like others have found, you end up having to keep stopping the machine to scrape the mixture off the sides of the bowl and stir it in manually. The tool height is not adjustable either. The machine is also very noisy and the delivery parcel very large, the size of an ottoman! This machine is no help at all with mixing cake mixture so I returned it for a full refund.

Totally agree with others in that I have to keep stopping to take cake mixture of the sides of the bowl, frustrating. Also my whisk broke & that’s after very little use. How can I get a replacement?

I was given this item as a christmas present, and have really tried to get the best out of it, however I have now gone back to mixing hand.The dough hook works really well, and I do still use this for bread, but the other attachments are pretty useless.If you use the whisk or beater you just get a little ball of mixture in the middle of the bowl, so you have to keep stopping and scraping the side of the bowl, so everything takes much longer than it should.Unfortunately this is just a very expensive dough mixing machine, which is very disappointing
