Q: Are these pieces are all from England?

Yes, all the pieces that I have acquired are made in England. I have never seen any pieces that were not made there.

Q: Does it have lead in the glaze?

This probably isn’t that helpful, but I’ve been using Portmeirion dinnerware and serveware for around 25 years, so I really hope we haven’t been ingesting lead this whole time. I’ve tried to do a little research and can’t easily find the answer. I know some of it is made in China now, not just England, so that could be a factor. I’ve had chronic health problems, also about 25 years. Probably just a coincidence, but now I think I should get tested. If I find a definitive answer, I will post it. Hopefully someone else has the answer. I’d hate to have to stop using all my beautiful dishes.
