CHI Straight Guard Smoothing Styling Cream, Eliminates Frizz For Sleek & Shiny Hair, Maximum Control, 8.5 Oz

I am a big fan of this Chi straight guard smoothing styling cream and have been using as a consistent part of my hair routine for the past few months. It’s made a significant positive difference in my hair with helping it appear healthier and a nice subtle shine without looking greasy. The product is like a lotion that you just need a quarter size dollop and rub through your hands and start from the bottom to apply through damp hair-it’s not sticky so it applies easily and even. My hair has really appreciated this product and if you can get it when it’s on a sale it’s really an incredible value for a high end product that works incredibly well. Highly recommend.

This is a GREAT product! My hair & moisture are mortal enemies! Living ANYWHERE that there is humidity, I'm screwed!I tried this for the first time a cpl of days ago. Put a little bit on my wet hair & just let it dry. It left it with a shiny "wet" look, yet it didn't make my hair feel "stiff", later that night, I brushed through my hair & it was soft, like I had no product on at all. I experimented with my flat iron & it left my hair straight, with ZERO frizz or stiffness!My hair is thin & baby fine, but this product gave it body & made it look thicker! I HIGHLY recommend this product. It protects from heat damage without leaving it feeling like you have "hair spray" or some other product in your hair. I like my hair to feel soft & natural to the touch. THIS gave me that & more!I was NOT compensated for my review, just honest truth!

I simply have to say I love this product. I have used a lot of different products for my hair, but this stands out by far the best. You just need very little of it to apply very gently on damp hair and you just style it. Hair feels so silky smooth, and the style is retained for 3-4 days easily. It just does everything that it promises. In short, it is slightly expensive than comparable products that’s available in the market. However, the quality is great. It gives good shine and leaves your hair very smooth.

Disappointed. Product I'm sure is fine as I've used it before. The issue is the pump is defective. The container and packaging we're all undamaged. The pump itself does not open nor does it pump the product. My option were to ship it back and wait for a replacement. Unacceptable. I ordered this with the impression that the reviews indicating a broken defective pump were isolated incidents. Apparently not isolated. Until they resolve this issue, I will not be purchasing this item from Amazon as the pump feature is necessary.

I used it on wet hair, just a small amount, then blew it dry. You don’t need a lot because if you put too much, it will really weigh your hair down. The cream isn’t as light as some others I’ve used. It’s couple of days and no frizz and straightness has remained. For reference I have hair that’s course, on the looser curly side, but it gets frizzy and dry. I would recommend this product, especially if you’ve used some of the L’Oreal products that they keep discontinuing. This is a decent replacement.
