The 2 gram syringe is just enough to do 1 amd cpu. Usually when using thermal paste on a cpu there is almost always a settling-in period at first to where the paste "even's" out throughout the cpu just after being applied, at the point where the thermal paste finally settles a fluttering effect can be seen on screen. While the settling-in effect is expected concerning most thermal pastes(after being applied), this thermal paste is the exception to that rule.I just installed a brand new amd cpu(ryzen 9 5950x) in my gaming pc, which is the top/best/most-advanced amd cpu(performance wise) that can be installed on the AM4 socket on my current pc motherboard. Atm there is no settling-in effect with using this thermal paste which means this thermal paste is a step(s) above the competition in overall quality as it fills in any and all empty pockets/spaces while applying it to a processing unit(which is very good).I was a little worried when I found out that it had aluminum particles in the paste itself, thankfully the particles are so small and oxidized that they are non conductive. Which means there is no risk of shorting anything out if you apply the paste wrong by accident.The paste is expensive, but not unreasonably priced. If your going to spending a good amount of money upgrading a pc, you might as well invest in good high quality thermal paste too that will last. Because this thermal paste has good/efficient heat transfer dissipation it will last longer because it will be subject to the stresses of heat to a lesser degree: which means that the paste itself will not dry out faster due to being subject to the stresses of heat over time. Also due to superior heat dissapation the paste keeps things operating at a cooler temperature which means the cooling fans operate at a lower speed which means less noise and less stress on the pc in general due to a lower temperature.It is a little tricky to work with than other competitor's thermal paste products. But it does provide superior performance when used and applied correctly. Based on my previous experience with this thermal paste, I would definitely buy this thermal paste again. Do not let the price discourage you from buying this really good thermal paste I would definitely recommend it.

It lowered my CPU temp about 9 degrees cooler. I couldn't be happier with it.

It has enough to do two heat sink. So far it's working. Just used it 3 days ago. Very easy to use and spreads well.

In hindsight, it seems excessive for my actual use case: I should have been more rational and went with Duronaut or Kryosheet instead. Despite my mistake, I still consider Thermal Grizzly to be a trustworthy brand.

TLDR, Don’t buy if you are using 9800X3D unless you want something pink.It is expensive. You don’t need LN cooling feature. It is hard to apply properly, and might pump out quickly if you have large and frequent thermal cycle. And most of all zero temperature (or less than 1C) improvement compared to MX6 for 9800X3d. So save your money if you have 9800x3d and get any of like MX-6 and equivalent. They won’t make huge difference. And they are way easier to work with.My idle are from 43C to 43C after switching from MX6 to Kryonaut Extreme and 74C max to 74C max for 100% load (~75% fan) at cinebench 2024 (PBO negative 35 all cores and auto scaling) with PA120 (1 fan only in middle, I tested with duo fan setup and see no noticeable temp change here).It works for chips which are themal paste bottlenecked. But in the case of 9800x3d, you are actually not limited by thermal paste. So it won’t make any noticeable difference. On contrary, it is much more difficult to work with and spread since it tends to stick to spatula. And also it is known to suffer from durability issue if you have frequent and large thermal cycle. And you really don’t need the feature for LN cooling. Ofc, it is more expensive. If you want something pink, you can get it, otherwise a cheap and decent thermal paste will serve you well for 9800x3d.

Salve, ho cercato in ogni modo di abbassare le temperature del mio portatile datato, che però ancora mi da soddisfazione, parliamo di un hp omen del 2018 con i7700h e una gpu 1060 max q, il pc mi ha sempre dato qualche noià con le temperature sopratutto con quella del processore, ma nel corso degli anni evolvendosi sia i giochi sia quella dell'editing video, molto spesso il computer soffre e questo porta la cpu a sfondare quasi i 100 gradi, successivamente il primo step è stato quello di cambiare la pasta termica con un'artic di pochi euro, vero non toccavo più i 100 gradi ma le temperature rimanevano ben al di sopra dei 90 gradi, portando il pc in un stato di throttling ingestibile....ero insomma decisa a cambiare pc, quando cercando qualcosa di "miracoloso" come la pasta di alluminio che promette risultati assurdi ma con un grande rischio nelle operazioni di applicarla mi sono imbattuto in questo prodotto, costoso sicuramente confrontato ad un artic, ma ho voluto provare, in fondo per 15 euro e risparmiare cambio del pc si può fare.Tutto arrivato perfettamente imballato in bustina fornita anche di un serial number per verificare l'autenticità del prodotto, 2 beccucci davvero molto pratici ed utili perchè hanno una sorta di uscita "spianata" per permettere di stendere meglio la pasta (che non è la solita color grigio topo ma di un rosa abbastanza appariscente), ho dovuto solamente svitare il tappo che teneva chiuso il tubetto e avvitare uno dei due beccucci, spingere leggermente e seguire le istruzioni sul piccolo manuale fornito.Ora la pasta mi è sembrata più "dura" e modellabile, davvero facile l'installazione, forse ho abbondato un po all'inizio e ho dovuto togliere lìeccesso, quindi non fatevi ingannare dalla solidità iniziale, mettene poca e poi stendetela su processore e gpu, ma alla fine una volta rimontato tutto i risultati sono sbalorditivi, la temperatura sotto stress si aggira intorno agli 80 gradi, nelle stesse identiche medesime condizioni della artic di prima, parliamo di 12-15 gradi in meno, e questo rimane invariato anche dopo ore continuate di utilizzzo del pc...sono veramente molto soddisfatta, ora non so quanto questa pasta possa tenere queste prestazioni nel tempo, di sicuro prima o poi il pc dovro cambiarlo perchè è perennemente sotto stress nelle operzioni che svolgo, ma per ora anche valutando di ricomprarla più in la se dovesse scendere di prestazioni, risparmio una spesa che sarebbe stata imminente con un nuovo pc.

Laptop için alacaksanız bilgisayar genel soğutma bloğunun ve fanların tasarımı kesinlikle kullandığını termal macundan daha önemli, o yüzden taze sürülmüş başka orta düzey bir termal macundan çok çok farklı bir sonuç vermeyebilir ama muhtemelen masaüstü bilgisayarlarda çok işe yarayacaktır.
