Good lights
This is the second of these units I've gotten. My plants seem to like them & are thriving better than with the fluorescent T5s I had before. Using in unheated Costco greenhouse to grow winter salad greens, start seedlings, keep tender perennials going. So far so good!

Great light for a plant bench!
I happened to be in the market just as Spider Farmer's new long format SF 600 (and SF 300) came on the market. I am using 6 foot wire mesh shelving for my orchid room, and a pair of SF 600's seemed like just the thing. I received them today and set them up, and they're everything SF advertised. The units consist of an six inch wide aluminum reflector hood with two strips of LEDs affixed along the length inside. The footprint is very similar to a fluorescent fixture. A mix of 3000k, 5000k, red, and IR LEDs give off a great and even light that my phone photometer and some quick calculations say matches the product PPFD spec quite accurately. Once turned on, the light barely got warm. I have fans in the room enough to move air around, but I doubt you'd need them. My orchids sit at 12-18" for Cattleya, 30-36" for mid-light such as Oncidium, and my Phalenopsis sit with a bit of filtering at 36". Full sun loving plants will have to sit closer, and for them this light would cover no more than a row; if you want that kind of light you probably want to step up to an SF-1000 or bigger. There is no dimmer, either, so violet growers will want a low bench and a high hanging position. Unlike SF's higher end lights which use industry-leading Samsung emitters, the 300 and 600 use OSRAM LEDs. The result is a bit less efficiency, but it's still quite acceptable. The simple wire hangers are easy to set up and long enough to adjust to meet most needs, and the combo of the power brick and standard computer type power cord was generous at at least ten feet long. One of my two units had a small section of LED that buckled away from the hood; I'm not sure if that will affect heat dissipation or longevity - I have a query out to Spider Farmer to see what I should do. [Edit: Spider Farmer will back the unit and does not indicate that problems will arise from the defect; their responsiveness was good.] But other than that I think this is a fine new addition to their product line. The long format of the light will be familiar to houseplant growers and can easily replace a tube lamp with superior light as tubes wear out.

Fantastic for Vegetables and Flower Starts
Fantastic lights! I wanted to review these since I don't grow Marijuana - only vegetables and flowers. These worked fantastic for my tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers (hot and sweet) and everything else. I ended up with 5 of them for all my starts and the lights really worked well. They fit great on the black and silver racks from home depot/menards/lowes/etc. and give terrific light. I even (later in the starting season) had plants on the floor around the racks and they got enough light to keep going. When compared to T5 lights (garage lights), these were much better, the plants happier (more dark green leaves) and growth much faster. The shipping was quick, and the packaging good enough that I am storing the lights in the original boxes. 10/10. There are others that have wifi control, more adjustments etc, but for pure functionality - highly recommend these. You may want to partner them with a power strip with a timer, or a power strip so its a quick on/off (I strapped one to a leg of one of the racks), but overall - great.

Didn't last, and terrible support for product
Purchased last year on sale , the price is now over what their own website charges ๐คฃ 90$ now is 109$?+ Initially, it was very bright and showed greatly improved for plant development and colors, so I was happy. after a few months, 2 red diodes failed and the LEDs started dimiing and reducing output , so I contacted their supposed 24/7 service , and even emailed them . Days+ later, I get an email replys by 2 different supports and bounced me back to a Amazon spider service member, who ask for for a video so I provided them. support said dead section are are IR , which should be visible on an IR camera(but are not ? ๐ ). And then told it's working fine just reduced (wut?) , if it's reduced it's not working ๐ , these don't have a controller for light level so if it's reducing means something on the circuit is failing this not working right??? The lights are cheap entry level but I didn't expect just a few months of work and support who don't even seem to know the product or how they function as they'd go off and wait for days to process replies. Prior when I've contacted this company asking about products I wanted to get specifics for use I've gotten weird replies from them and trying to push to get sponsorship or join their paid in affiliate program. When I literally just asked about light performance ๐คจ, honestly seems really weird behavior, but the customer support isn't one I'd recommend , nor this product specifically due to short lifespan and failure of it and support for product under warranty

Great lights
Very cost effective. Bought several to replace my four-lamp F32 fluorescent industrial channel fixtures. Lower power usage, less heat, and better brighter light. Highly recommend.

Perfect For Shelves
Update: I have cherry tomatoes growing in my kitchen. These lights did Extraordinarily well and the tomatoes are growing at about the same rate as they would outdoors in summertime. I'd recommend growing a dwarf variety unless you like lots of pruning. Bought this during the sale since it lines up perfectly with the space on a 2'x4' shelves to grow tomato plants. Having a cable attachment has made it pretty great for finding the optimal height for the plants on top of it being full spectrum. I'm skeptical on the height guides since they all say something different. I opted to just use a temperature gun and lowered the light to 10 inches from the leaves until the center plants were at 82f since this is the hottest area under the light, plant is now growing faster it seems. I am working towards growing an indeterminate variety of tomatoes and keeping the plant under 3 feet tall (I will update this review once I have results).
