Great recipe ideas for the everyday person
I love two things about this magazine AND her show- every recipe I have tried has TASTED great and you do not have to be a chef to cook them. I have a busy life but like to cook delicious meals for my family and these recipes enable me to do just that. A caveat- if I get stumped I go to the Rachael Ray site and sometimes I can see someone cooking the same recipe or get tips. The organization of the magazine is brilliant- a recipe index complete with pictures gives the magazine a current and relevant feel in the age of iPads and instant viewing. The only criticism is that for those trying to cook healthy- nutritional information likes calories, fiber and fat content are woefully absent.

Rachel Ray for Everyone
Bought this subscription for my mom and she loves it. She's one of those people that follows recipes exactly and everything she has made from this magazine has turned out great! Too bad there are tons of ads but all-in-all, good magazine for those that like to cook and don't have to get too bogged down with fancy recipes that require ingredients nobody has in their pantry!

Military Wife loves Rachael Ray's monthly magazine.
I purchased this magazine for my granddaughter. She was thrilled to receive Rachael's monthly magazine. She is a military wife and has to watch finances. As her husband is on a 9 month tour of duty stationed in Afganistan, she has plenty time to experiment on the dishes. She is very pleased with what she has tried so far. Thank you for asking.

Every Day with Rachael Ray Magazine
I have just received my second magazine. I was not impressed with the first May magazine. The June/July magazine I have absolutely enjoyed. Great practical ideas/meals/recipes to use for everyday. I like that most of the ingredients are ones I already have or have used. I like the "This Month's Menu". It is a small tearout booklet that is easy to read. It includes a shopping list. I love that the recipes each come with a beautiful full color picture of what the meal/recipe is to look like. Thanks for a great magazine that inspires me to cook.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel after 3 issues...
Let me start off by saying, I think Rachael Ray is the bomb!!! I know a lot of people are put off by her perkiness, but for some reason I really think she seems like a genuine person who doesn't put on heirs about who she is or where she comes from (read: a cook with no formal training.)Regarding the magazine however, of the three issues I received before canceling the subscription, there were very few delicious, quality recipes (Grazin Burger from the July / August 2013 issue being one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth; seriously out of this world good.) However, in that same issue (I think) there was a spread on 10 different takes on Hot Dogs (due to this article being about hot dogs none of these "takes" could be considered even remotely healthy; one that stands out in my head as being really odd involved topping your dog with crumbled Ritz crackers (Who in their right mind would serve that to guests at a BBQ???) It's unfortunate, but most of the recipes ran along these lines of being quick but not necessarily healthy or palatable. The travel / culture / fashion sections were interesting, but there were just too many low-brow recipes to stomach. (Oh snap!)

birthday gift.
On more than one occassion I've purchased the EveryDay with Rachel Ray magazine and I've never been disappointed. The magazine is great to look at, surprisingly easy meals to fix and is a Good Read. I like this magazine so much that I just gave a two year subscription to my sister for her birthday. She likes this magazine also. Plus, she is a fan of Rachel Ray cooking shows. Couiln't go wrong with this gift it's jam packed with articles, how to's and meals.

This is a great cooking magazine all around
This is a great cooking magazine all around. It could use more grocery store and budget shopper ingredients, but all in all I love it. I have been getting it for many years, ever since it came out. There is always a burger of the month as well as a cocktail of the month.

... I miss the original and some of the features like the insight into a celebrity fridge
This seems to get thinner with every issue- I miss the original and some of the features like the insight into a celebrity fridge. Recipes are easy though.
